Just a video I've wanted to make for about a week now, to get all my thoughts out there about custom operating systems, scripts and even Minecraft PvP Clients. It's all a minefield and I don't know what to do..
A custom OS is usually an Optimised version of Windows with minimal background Processes, Reduced latency and will help improve FPS and performance on Minecraft, I normally like open source projects and is install slightly different to other OS that I've featured on my channel
If you are always looking for a good OS like I am then I think making it yourself might be the best option however you are welcome to experiement with these operating systems on another drive or partition but MAKE SURE TO BACKUP YOUR DATA

Actually i like your vids even if the operating system is laggy or whatever, but your vids just clear alot of points and cover alot of stuff that make us have enough knowledge to know what is bad and what is good, and people installing these stuff isnt really your responsibility

thanks for covering this, although custom windows operating systems mark themselves as being 'open-source' and 'privacy respecting' most of them that market themselves as this are sadly malware stealing personal information. personally, i recommend making your own ISO and debloating it yourself, instead of trusting people/companies you do not know with your information and your computer. :)

I don't use Windows-optimized OSes and instead optimized Windows by my own. I use only Windows Defender as other antivirus software may increase background processes.

Man, I am too lazy and tired that I only watched Nitro's videos but he makes good contents to help out people with low fps
I began using reviOS after I watched your reviOS video, and i dont believe anything like that because uhm its having a lot less bg processes and overall those w11 features we know and love
Yeah it looks fine to me
I use ReviOS cause its well documented and its a long time release custom, and it gets updates throw WinUpdate so im not concerned about safety patches

@@IIDreamy Bro get pop os I'm getting 800 FPS max with it and when i was on chrome os I got 150 FPS max with lunar client

Yea for atlas os I was in the middle of tweaking the ame wizard I got BSOD so I had to reinstall windows 10

Hey guess what? I Got a fever and the only solution is ARch!
I was trying out Windows X'lite for like 2 days or so As time passed I noticed it while lite and snappy.
It tended to break certain things like strange misplaced taskbar pops up showing on the wrong side.
The thought of do I really want to be entering my bank account details and email details on this custom iso.
I ended up just building my own personal iso with tinyos builder with official microsoft iso download. Debloating windows 11.

I don't have problems with ReviOS on my 13 years old laptop.
I also recommend as a i3 4gb laptop gamer it really hepled its supper smooth in a low end laptop❤

Malwarebytes is the only AV I found trust in - and its only 30€ a year sooooo...
using windows defender is good for u if u know what u r doing on pc... okay if ur not going random websites clicking here and there, downloading free fortnite coins or robolox coins... it's all good with defender

I use kaspersky premium. And have been for 2 years. Noticed 0 issues and it has removed 6791 VIRUSES FROM MY PC (And yes it collects alot of data but you can disable that in settings you just have to dig alot.)

I had an i3 3rd generation for a little while, I would try and upgrade the RAM to atleast 8GB and use an SSD drive too and install AtlasOS or optimise and debloat Windows 10 yourself

Dang it I installed Tiny 11 on my server and now I'm installing windows 10 on it
It's okay Tiny11 is probably safe but I personally use Windows 10 LTSC now

I been using atlasOS for 3 months now, no signs of info leak so it works 👍
Yeah atlas is one of the better ones for sure
I use atlas but can delete it I want to go back to windows if anyone can help
And then again custom Windows operating systems are all against Microsoft's TOS. Therefore if you want to optimize Windows just use Microsoft's official iso and do post installation optimizations. Linux is also very good for performance, but it's not good for everyone, but you will have good performance out of the box. There are hundreds of Linux distributions as well so there is plenty of choice. Also other options are BSD operating systems, which are great for stability and servers, but it might be very painful to setup if you're not familiar with Unix based operating systems.
Yeah only when I looked into making my own OS I realised that you can get into trouble distributing it so I wonder why they allow other people, or maybe that havent been discovered yet
