Homecoming CoH - How to make Money using the Auction House with TheDahle

Now this video is to assist you in making money with the Auction House. No matter if you start, Blue Side, Red Side or Gold Side, you can make this kind of money with a couple of exploration badges and a crafting table. The Auction House is easy to access, just type /ah in you chat window and it will pull up for you. Go make some money y'all and as always, Go be a Hero!
I know this is a while back, but thank you for simply spelling this out. Everyone always says “just use the ah to make money!” But never really explained it in detail. I appreciate you.

Good stuff. I've been buying purple set recipes and just building them and reselling them for about 5 million profit. Very quick and easy money. I just check every day.
I applaud your patience. It is a good way of making Influence also. I have found that purple recipes are a bit slow to buy and the IOs can be slower to sell, but it definitely works. The initial investment for get the purple recipes+salvage can also stretch new toons thin. I'd say purple recipes are an advanced method of auction housing that with time and patience can make a decent profit also.

What I like to do is make a character and get the 5 merit rewards and run the entire arcs in AP. I make a Spines/Fire Aura Brute and focus only on the AoE attacks; it's faster this way, IMO. Then go to The Hollows and run all those and collect the 5 reward merits there, bringing my total: to 110 reward merits.
Normally I would purchase the ATIOs.
I also grab the Inner Inspiration, then disable the small inspirations, along with Break frees and Wakies, so I only get the mediums and large. Sell those in AH for a few bucks.
Here's what I do for extra cash with my random Spines/Fire brute: I stop my exp gain in The Hollows at lvl 14. I only grab purple (Defense) inspirations, and any other small inspirations I collect during a mish, I combine into Wakies and sell those in the zone store for 120 cash. All mediums and large go into AH. And whatever Salvage I obtain, I'll either sell in the zone store or AH, depending on the salvage type.
By the time I'm done, depending on what sells, I usually end up with 2 to 3 mill.
Might have to take one day and try this out though!
Hey thanks for the vid! Very helpful. Been at it for a few hours and made about 150 mil so far. But how are you clicking your enhancements into your AH window? I've tried shift clicking and all that. I have to drag them but would love to know how you're doing that, for my ADHD brain
If the auction house and enhancement tray windows are open, it should just be left click to have them move from the enhancement tray to the auction house. No shift or control click needed.
Page 7 did just come.out, but I don't remember anything changing about the enhancement tray in the patch.

I'm new to this game and I'm finding badges just randomly as I play. I found a list for Atlas Park but the map numbering system for loc is just a mess. I can't pinpoint where any of that crap is. I wish you would have showed all the badge points at least. People coming back to this game and starting on the Excelsior server is in for a rude awakening when they see the auction house prices. Doing stuff like this is the only way to catch up or afford anything.

Also, auction prices on homecoming are about 1/5 of prices on Live.
Also, all servers share the Auction House. If you play Excelsior, you may be buying from someone on a different server.

@@TheDahle Really? So is it that easy to make money or are people just buying it?
@@GuruChaz there are plenty of ways to make quick influence. Most people utilize farming for it and sell recipes and stuff on the AH. Because all the servers are linked in the AH and enhancements and recipes adjust to the purchased level (seller lists a lvl 35 but buyer purchases a 50) the market is pretty fluid.
If you are looking for other methods of making money though, you need either a 50 farmer, a good bit of investment influence or just a ton of time to grind the game.
