To be fair I don't see Ayse make a order of a massacre a lot of innocents in the harem with smile in her last episode ( like a lot of innocents concubines killed ). But I can get your point.

@Leo Turhan defeating Kosem would have made sense if it was earned and not forced based on plot armour
But Turhan had to deal with a seriously mentally disabled man who was capable of unreasonably killing his own son,when infant.

It is interesting that even if Silahatar know what did Ayse ( even if she was tricked) , was destroyed by Geverhan death and begins to have blind loyalty ( loyalty is good but blind loyalty not) after being destroy by him he pleads the mercy for Ayse. He protect Farya only for the sake of Murad, but he tried to protect Ayse for her own sake wich is different. Do you think he had secretly a platonic thing on Ayse? Or maybe it's just that he considers her a true friend or does he have a very great respect for her ( maybe it was only for her childs but I don't think so). Too bad that we didn't see a lot of their relationships it would be so interesting.

@@SexhatClhxlhxyoxyl Yes I overthink but the problem is we didn't have a lot their relationships so we don't get why he protected her a lot ( Ibrahim protect Mahidevran surely because she was "obedient" to him unlike Hurrem but it's not the case of Silahtar) so I make a lot of hypothesis but I will stop it XD.
@Leo He wasn't her brother.Silahtar was loyal men to Murad, and Murad wanted to marry Kaya to him,and Ayse also supported him.However Murad died when Kaya was child. Then Kosem married Kaya to her loyal men Melik Ahmed Pasa.However Ayse disagred,Kaya also didn't want to marry him, and Ayse argued with Kosem.T hen Ayse told this problem to Ibrahim,and Ibrahim disagred with her. Also,Ibrahim hated Kaya because she was daughter of Murad, and there are also notes that Ibrahim wanted to kidnap one concubine of his brother from the Old Palace, and make her his concubine.Many believe that the concubine he wanted to kidnap was Ayse. However the girl had begged Sekerpare Hatun(the main treasurer )to help her,and Sekerpare thretened Ibrahim with dagger,to give up and leave the girl.Then Sekerpare was put on dungeons.
But Kosem intervented and stoped Ibrahim,and freed Sekerpare from dungeon.
Ibrahim was more crazy then in the series.He hated his first son Mehmed, because acording to him he was born ugly and blamed Turhan why Mehmed was ugly.There are many records about that:he aslo wanted to make the son of the Mehmed's weth nurse his heir.Osman wasn't his son irl,and Zafire was Mehed's weth nurse.Then Kosem exiled Zafire and her son to Egypt,but they were captured by Maltese pirates, and spend their lives in monastery.
There also other crazy things that he had done.

Farya was beautiful, she was brave, straightforward, she was a princess - a complete positive character. But still she is hated by many bcz of her unexpected presence in the scenes. Even I hated her character in the show. The makers ruined the original story by her presence!

@Leo hence why I said in the bad ways. The negatives of Hürrem is that she often listened in and intervened in the Sultan's political affairs (in the show this was not allowed but of course in reality Suleiman let her)

I didnt watch the show, but only seeing this scene i can tell who is the evil woman and who is the good one. Sometimes the sultans r surprising me with their stupidity.
