  • Brazil's Amazon is home to the world's largest number of uncontacted tribes, but for years, missionaries have violated Brazilian law protecting them by entering their lands.
Indigenous activists are now appealing to the Supreme Court, alleging the preachers are sowing discord and hoping to keep them out for good.

Al Jazeera’s Monica Yanakiew reports from Javari Valley in Amazonas State, Brazil.

Which is why they are so happy in isolation. Missionaries are crazy. Desperately trying to prove to themselves they are the best follower of Jesus. If they just opened their eyes they would see the isolated people don't need the word of God. They're already closer to 'God' than anyone. They live in his creation very successfully. It’s the truth. We’re tired of hearing white nationalists talk about how everyone else is “invading” their homeland and erasing their culture, yet they don’t respect the right of other countries and territories to govern themselves how they see fit. Unspeakable acts of cruelty have been inflicted upon mankind because of false interpretations and revisionism of the Christian faith, and people wonder why others are hesitant.
Not only that, but there’s been too many stories of Christian missionaries who withhold food and supplies from children unless they “convert”. You can’t force your faith on others. Respect the right of others to choose their own destiny.

The Bible is a magical thing. 90% of people have no idea what it means, have not read the whole thing, yet they still have the audacity to go to another country and convert people to a religion that they themselves don't even comprehend. Take the 1st sentence about God ( Elohim) creating the heavens (space) and earth. Elohim is not God singular, but "the gods", meaning a highly advanced extraterrestrial society. The Elohim. That's what the book actual says if you bother to do 10 minutes of research.
