I think there might already be a very well paid job waiting for him at Maroccanoil, the biggest *ISRAELI* financier that's sort of the *OWNER* of the contest...
It's sad to see Nemo also react badly, apparently they had to be explained why Martin was the one giving the votes but they had already been told why Joost wasn't there competing and interacting with the other contestants, and it looks like they miss him - if not as a friend, at least as someone who was nice to have around.
This year Eurovision actually reached the abyss for so many reasons even excluding Dutch disqualification. Martin has simply lost it and has to resign if he wants to save his face and guarantee ESC a future.
i watched it live to see if anything would be said about the netherlands, but nothing. not even a small notice. it was nonsense what they decided and the camerawoman(why tf does this get specified everywhere? wtf does it matter) should've respected the agreements(with the EBU) and Joost's boundries(asked several times to stop filming). I can't stop watching this its amazing how everyone reacted, #JusticeForJoost I say next year it's Joost or nothing. As a dutchy myself I was crushed by all this, and it was disproportionate plus wrong from the EBU. I say next year we send in Joost or we quit. There will need to be more rules in place to also protect the artists, and a new EBU team/f*ck away with martin. so the ARTIST doesn't get harassed. #FreeJoost #JusticeForJoost
The thing is, I partially blame him for what happened, BUT I'm quite sure that the sponsors forced a lot of the decisions that were made the past couple of weeks, and all the people working there had to comply. So, getting NEW sponsors and banning (at least for a while) *that* country are the first two decisions that have to be made if they want to start fixing all this mess they've created. And yes, I'm assuming Martin would have to resign eventually, but I'd say he's not even the third biggest problem we have at the moment.
Who would've thought that signing a 5 year general sponsor contract with an ¡sraeli company could go wrong??🤪 Totally no politics, no conflict of interests and no tied hands for major decisions when you're paid by a company from a country using ESC to score international political points

Also said that decision to disqualify Joost was extreme and uncalled for), Ireland (Israel commentator told people to harass Bambie online for their being non-binary and their personal beliefs, and the EBU basically did nothing), Spain (Spanish pro-palestine journalists were repeatedly harassed and bullied by Israeli journalists / people), Portugal (due to Palestine patterns on her nails, the EBU purposefully didn't upload her grand final performance during the voting, unlike all other songs. It was the semi-final performance for a while after that too, instead of her final performance). The EBU's response was to say, "We regret some delegations didn't respect the spirit of the rules". The majority of these broadcasters have or are considering submitting a formal complaint, and with many of the upset people also those who decide if the country goes to Eurovision next year, I wouldn't be surprised if we see boycotts.

So YES sure. Do it, bacause much people are now done with it 😂

I love that Nemo kept a completely straight face when the Dutch jury awarded 12 points to him as read out by Martin Österdahl.
It’s not out of respect, it’s just that none of the team realized they were given points until the camera cut but yeah maybe there’s some mystery behind it

Petra's face when she calls Martin for the points from the Netherlands. It tells the whole story.

Netherlands, start your own contest next year and we’ll all come. ❤ you Joost.
Time to leave.....he is not representing Europe(papa) anymore!!!
A big injustice for The Netherlands. It would be normal to deal this issue with Joost and Avrotros after the Grand Final show and not changing the rules during the game.
The Netherlands even hosted this year in few ocasions all the singers in Amsterdam. And they pay them like this? Come on Netherlands I hope you stop sending candidates next year and make a Big Sue again this horrible show
To be fair, who hosted who should play no role at all, that would be part of the problem. But the decision was disproportionate as it stands. Unless they know something we don't, but why the f* is nobody giving any first hand info!? EBU seems to be a censorship operation.
Cornald Maas for president
It’s sweet to see how Switzerland didn’t cheer when they got their points from the netherlands
Sweet? I think that's pathetic
I think they just didn’t notice, because right before they turned the cameras away from Nemo you did see them get excited. So I’m not sure.
@atomiclena128 But they noticed and reacted to all the other 12 points that almost every country gave to Switzerland... Yeah... I doubt what you said is the reason there was no reaction to the Netherlands' 12 points...
@@darkdelphin834 In the full broadcast he reacted happily a few seconds later.
@@darkdelphin834 The crowd was booing their arse off when Martin spoke, so it’s not a stretch to believe that they just didn’t hear it. Why else the excitement at the very end before the camera switches away?
I didn’t realise that everyone got booed at Martin Österdahi (Head of EBU), not just the Pro-Palestinian protest and UK has imfamous 0 points for the poor set up and the vocals but Dutch contestant Joost Klein got disqualified as well. Cornald Maas reacts was pure gold and he deserves an Oscar for that. And Graham Norton said “Not happy with the EBU this year”. And now everyone including Bambie Thug is hating the EBU as well as Eurovision now, because of it. I watched Eurovision all my life. What an outrages month i’ve been watching.

it’s kind of a difficult phrase to translate cause ‘bende’ can be both translated to ‘gang’ or ‘mess’ but needless to say, he was not impressed 😂

Nah, EBU's fault
There's no reason to. As suspected from Sweden, this was amongst the most beautifully produced contests ever.

EBU - “Martin you are now good to go”
This years Eurovision was an absolute mess. Such a difference to the well organised and happy show in the UK last year.
EBU didn't had anything to mess up for Suspline and BBC fortunately
@@EmVee.BBC wouldn’t have let it get to the point this contest did.

It's sad to see Nemo also react badly, apparently they had to be explained why Martin was the one giving the votes but they had already been told why Joost wasn't there competing and interacting with the other contestants, and it looks like they miss him - if not as a friend, at least as someone who was nice to have around.
The boo's at Martin was well Justified. Joost doesn't deserve to be disqualified after he was harass by an Israeli production crew.
the amount of fake news spreaded by so-called "fans" was also outstanding this year.

Martin Osterdahl should be kicked out of Europapa.

I can't stop watching this its amazing how everyone reacted, #JusticeForJoost
I say next year it's Joost or nothing.

We will quit. (not a fact but I would eat my schoen op)
I doubt Joost want to go through it again.
But a song "Euromama" with the same hakkûh vibe, yes, all in. It went down very well.
I loved how Nemo didnt even stand up or somethign out of happiness
GO EBU. it is time too go now for EBU. Never come back
We will not forget ❤
The thing is, I partially blame him for what happened, BUT I'm quite sure that the sponsors forced a lot of the decisions that were made the past couple of weeks, and all the people working there had to comply. So, getting NEW sponsors and banning (at least for a while) *that* country are the first two decisions that have to be made if they want to start fixing all this mess they've created. And yes, I'm assuming Martin would have to resign eventually, but I'd say he's not even the third biggest problem we have at the moment.

Rotterdam 2021 Best Eurovision Ever
I've made a lost of broadcasters and why they are upset at the EBU: Netherlands (obvious), Serbia and Slovenia (Multiple very senior people, including one woman who used to be on the board while ago, condemned the decision the decision to let Israel in.

@@paigeandmiamagicbeautygirl2988 This is the best example of being brainwashed I've ever seen. It's NOT OKAY to harass ANYONE for ANY reason, let alone on NATIONAL TELEVISION.
