Well said. His suggestions can perfectly work in an ideal society but when poverty is rife and everyone wants to make dollars then outside players can tempt people to be trators to act against their own country - so you can't only concentrate on democracy, one must be ready to thwart enemies' evil plans against you and try to poke fingers into his eyes too to show there will be consequences.
It seems these people are talking about totally irrelevant things. The causes and wars have never been due to acceptance or rejection of democracy. Saudi arab, a dictatorship is still a great ally of US.
No where in his analysis he considered that it's about removal of unjust foreign powers from Afghanistan. Hence, definitely he has biases.
To say any system of governance is better than other is most naive thing a person who is considered as scholar can say. It's about people and not system. The problem is in people. Can only be solved when most of them evolve to understanding beings.

When the Qura’n says Shura, i.e., consensus of the people, which is known as democracy in today’s language, then democracy is the right mode of government. Even the Kulafa were selected by shura.

Please listen to him carefully. He has said a number of times that Shariah is the answer but the definition of Shariah in the minds of the Muslims in general where anyone can be forced to pray, or fast or anything like that is not consistent with the Quranic view. Qura’n says “There is no force in religion..” Why would people across the globe accept anything by force? Would you accept a Taliban style edict that says that if you don’t show up for prayer in the mosque, you will be beaten and jailed? Or if your wife goes to drop you children to school without a male adult, someone can beat her with a stick for leaving the house? Taliban consider that part of Sharia. Who in their right mind would accept that?

*(c). President Ghani said last year that more than 45,000 members of the Afghan security forces had been killed since he became president in 2014* .
*(d). However, some media reports say that in recent years Afghan security force fatalities have been very high, sometimes averaging 30-40 deaths a day* .

اس طرح افغان جنگ کے باعث مرنے والے امریکی فوجیوں کی کل تعداد = 2300+7800
= 80300
اوپر بیان کی گئی تعداد مرنے والے صرف امریکی فوجیوں کی ہے۔ امریکی contractors اور امریکا سے مل کر لڑتے ہوئے مرنے والے افغان فوجیوں کی تعداد اس سے کہیں زیادہ ہے۔ جیسا کہ اوپر کہا کہ BBC کی رپورٹ کے مطابق 2014 سے 2020 تک صرف چھ سال کے دوران امریکہ کے ساتھ مل کر طالبان کے خلاف لڑنے والے افغان فوجیوں کی تعداد جو صرف ان 6 سالوں میں مارے گئے 45000 ہے۔
*3* . اسی BBC کی رپورٹ کے مطابق افغانستان میں امریکہ کو ہونے والے نقصان کی تفصیل درج ذیل ہے:
“According to the US Department of Defense, the total military expenditure in Afghanistan (from October 2001 until September 2019) was $778bn. In addition, the US State Department - along with the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and other government agencies - spent $44bn on reconstruction projects.That brings the total cost - based on official data - to $822bn since the war began in 2001, but it doesn't include any spending in Pakistan, which the US uses as a base for Afghan-related operations. An independent study carried out by Brown University's Cost of War Project argues that the official US figures for the Afghan war are a substantial underestimate. It says that Congress has approved funds amounting to about one trillion dollars for Afghanistan as well as for Pakistan”.
اگر آپ آج کل کے امریکی اخباروں کو پڑھیں تو آپ کو معلوم ہو گا کہ امریکہ طالبان کے خلاف جنگ میں ابھی تک 2 trillion ڈالر خرچ کر چکا ہے۔
امریکہ اپنے 80 ہزار 300 فوجی مروا کر، 2 کھرب ڈالر خرچ کر کے اور بغیر کچھ حاصل کئے بے نیل و مرام ذلت سے واپس چلا گیا۔
*جا اپنی حسرتوں پہ آنسو بہا کے سو جا*
اس سب کے باوجود آپ کے نزدیک پھر بھی امریکہ کو شکست نہیں ہوئی؟ اگر کسی کو دن چڑھے سورج نظر نہ آئے تو اسے اپنی آنکھوں کا علاج کروانا چاہیے۔
چند ہزار طالبان نے ملت کفر کے لاکھوں فوجیوں کی وہ درگت بنائی ہے کہ ان کی آنے والی 100 پشتیں یاد رکھیں گی۔ کیا یہ فتح نہیں؟
مغرب نے جمہوریت صرف اپنی عوام کے لئے بنائی ہے مسلمانوں کے لیے نہیں۔ آپ کے ممدوح اہل مغرب نے الجزائرمیں اسلامک فرنٹ اور مصر میں جمہوری حکومت کا خاتمہ بندوق کے زور پر کیا۔

China model is not dictatorship. It is a one party system based on meritocracy where the best performing leaders are aloud to make progress. There are many flaws in modern democratic systems. We should not place at a pedestal. I regard mr Ghamidi as one of my teachers but I believe in a system where meritocracy and will of the people is balanced. This we do not see neither in the american nor the british system.
If democracy means that any populist can take advantage of the sentiments in a society and say whatever needed to get the votes to get in the parliament and have influence then I regard it as a flawed system which is not working even if you call it democracy. Actually the will of the people can be shown in many ways.

میرا موضوع تحقیق چونکہ استشراق اور مستشرقین (تھا) اِس لیے جب بھی غامدی صاحب کو پڑھتا تھا تو بعض مقامات پر مجھے ایسے لگتا تھا جیسا کہ پہلے میں نے پڑھے ہوں اور جہاں جہان مجھے یہ احساس ہوتا رہا ان تحریروں کو ایک ڈائری میں قلمبند کرتا رہا جب انہی نظریات اور عبارات کی تحقیق شروع کی تو پتہ چلا کہ غامدی صاحب نے مشہور مستشرقین اگناز گولڈ زیہر [ ت ۱۹۲۱ ]، نولڈکی [ ت ١٩٣٠ ]، آرتھر جیفری [ ت ١٩٥٩ ] اور جوزیف شاخت [ ت ١٩٦٩ ] وغیرہ کی تحقیقات کا بہترین اُردو ترجمہ کرکے اپنے آپ سے منسوب کیا ہے اور کہیں بھی ان کا حوالہ نہیں دیا ہے جو کہ علمی زُبان میں اسکو پلیجرزم کہا جاتا ہے۔

The disscussion is not about in whivmch part of the world democracy is bring practiced immaculately, but how the governance should come to force. We may still find in world people doing bussiness with corruption but it must be told that bussiness should be done honestly. If something is done in a wrong way doesn't mean that thing is wrong but the people who do it wrong are wrong. If police tortures people it doesn't mean we should outrightly close it down but we must understand its not the institution that is wrong but the people who run it are wrong.
