So there we were on this roller coaster, we just went through a loop, when all of sudden, this huge monster comes out of the water! It loomed over us and said, "I need about tree fitty."
It’s nice to see they’re not only keeping up with this legendary attraction, but adding to the experience over 40 years later. Now if only they could add some of this theming to Pantheon.
OMG THIS IS AMAZING!! Back when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade we were learning about writing a letter and I ended up writing a letter to Busch Gardens asking them to add Nessy to the ride because I felt they had a lot of space to add her and it would be super cool! And they wrote back saying they would consider it and loved the idea!! And here we are!!!! They did it!!
As someone's who's actually Scottish and has been to Loch Ness (kinda),this is pretty darn accurate to the legend. Also the guy's voice sounds perfectly Scottish to me,kinda like David Tennant's own voice tbh.
Obviously this is not easy to tell from a POV video but it certainly does LOOK like it's smoother than it used to be! The theming is a nice touch, especially the new stuff in the Helix tunnel.
This was actually shot from a hand mounted camera to catch more or the theming. I have a video posted a few days prior to this that is chest mounted. That will give you more of an idea of the smoothness of it!
Wow! Last year they updated it to it's former glory as a legendary coaster, but this 2024 revamp elevated it to not only being one of the most iconic roller coasters of all time, but now also being a real THEMED coaster, that makes you feel like you're indeed dealing with the Lochness Monster threat instead of it being just a name like it was before. The screens in the tunnel showing the monster trying to catch you are amazing, and the prop after the second loop at the end is fabulous and comes out of nowhere. I can't wait to give it a ride!
I enjoyed the new elements, but the restraints are still pretty awful. I always maintain the correct posture while riding and this ride bangs my head and neck around like no other.
I am old enough to have ridden the original back when it was fairly new - 1980. When everything was working well, they ran two sets of cars on the track at once, and when the timing was perfect, the cars would meet in the intersecting loops. Are they planning to try this with the new ride?
I wanted to get on this ride , but the staff member told me I have to pay for a individual ticket . I asked him how much was the ticket? He said about Tree Fiddy
It's made for the self diagnosed ADD generations. Original 10th anniversary theme with the mist, strobes, and original head logo at the exit was the best. Tunnel runs should be dark, mysterious, and scary. Each time tunnel theming has returned it's gotten worse and worse...
@@tylerrusnak7736 sounds to me your the one with no taste. But no honestly every roller coaster at Busch garden Williamsburg was lame to me except griffin I didn’t enjoy myself it’s definitely a kiddy park for sure.

It was a huge monster from the Paleolithic era!
She gave him a dollar!
😂😂😂😂😂 I know a South Park fan when I see one.
"What can you get with $3.50 Chef?"

If they could add the second half of the layout to Pantheon that would be good too

Nice to see the old girl get a face lift. I lived in Williamsburg for 30 years and worked at Busch Gardens for several of them.

Nessie statue
She is finally Reopen
Yellow track
Is Nessie in water, if so I’m skipping since I have submechanaphobia
@@SpeedyCrabbit1533 is that from a buzzfeed quiz?
@@zydration3538 No, deadly afraid of submechanphobia
Adding the Nessie Statue reminds me of Disney World's "Expedition Everest" with the Animatronic Yeti in the end (now it's broken as Disco Yeti)
Oh definitely! You can’t forget that the on-ride audio is giving away the Disney vibes as well 😉
Nice to see parks finding a way to keep their old Arrow loopers open
Wish my home park did
So cool 😎
Awesome footage thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching
Of course the Loch Ness monster was my very first roller coaster it’s my all time favorite
I love the new theming for this roller coaster
Wonderful attraction for the new Lochness Monster.
I have always loved this coaster. Cannot wait to ride the "new and improved" version of Nessie!
Them straight lines and circles be hitting different

That’s arrow for ya.
the restraints aren't even the real problem, it's the arrow tracks that do it. nessie being such a classic has it downsides
This is awesome

I remember those days!
This ride looks pretty fun
At last the green beast finally rears it's face in Williamsburg!
Didn’t get the chance to ride this last time I was there. Can’t wait to go back
Yeaaah, they definitely took notes from Veloci-Coaster.
Good video...New Subscriber here i ❤ that you and your son are creating adventures 😊
Thank you❤️
Can you imagine being a park worker having to listen to that all day?
Impressive ❤
Nessie moment
I missed riding this by 2 weeks
Lilly would love this
Classic!
1:52 Mid Course Got A Little Music Like Rythm In It :)
Ayyyye matey! A bit of the ol' Irish eh🍀?!? And end with a big ol' Nessy! I see you🐉😮🎉
Gonna spoil the big reveal in the thumb I guess….
I wanted to get on this ride , but the staff member told me I have to pay for a individual ticket . I asked him how much was the ticket? He said about Tree Fiddy
It’s open to the public now. You had to have a season pass a few weeks ago.
2:50 Was that the staff member?
Don't give that monster no tree fiddy!
Did they slow her down? Not much of a front car rider, but up there it seems she's a wee bit off from past rides.
It doesn’t seem slower. It seems about the same. A little smoother than before I think
I guess
What is supposed to be happening in the tunnel. Looks like you’re going by tvs with underwater stuff on them with zero context of what is going on

That Looks Weak
It’s a traditional old school coaster!
@@SteelScreamStudios it’s whack and needs to be torn down out with traditional and in with THRILLS

@@JonMooreVx It is geared more toward families than 14 year olds. When you have young kids like I do you will come to appreciate the difference.
