Everytime I see that you've posted a video, I get so so excited. I'm also a home owner, my husband and I live in South Africa, and even thought the home wasn't a fixer upper like yours it was in need of some love. When my husband and I moved in we weren't married abd were young and never really worried about what our home looked like but now, I'm a mum and grown up quite a bit and for the first time I take pride in what my house looks like. So watching you transform your home in such a relatable way is very entertaining and relaxing at the same time. You do such a good job and your so creative, which gives me lots of ideas. So basically I wish I could see a video every day updating us on the progress. Keep going I'm so excited of a complete before and after home tour. 👏😁👏😁

We’re in the midst of renovations at our house too and painting the walls and redecorating and cleaning has become such tedious tasks. But when I watch your home renovation and styling videos it inspires and motivates me to keep working on mine. 😊
I just went to visit a friend's new flat and she had this stone tile looking countertop, it was so beautiful, like old italian red brick road tiles, I don't know how to best describe it, but it gave an otherwise very tiny kitchen SUCH character...! The arch doorway and white walls also helped to make it extra Mediterranean! I love natural materials even as a rustic pop in an otherwise more modern space! It keeps some of the warmth and character and nods to older buildings' pasts. Can't wait to see the rest of your house come together, it's so much work, but so much fun, isn't it!?

I love all of your DIY and project videos! They are so inspiring and help me to feel confident about my own future projects, I'm currently doing my first room makeover at the age of 27 and it's daunting! So many previous tenants cut corners when decorating so there is a lot of cleanup to do before I can get down to actually painting and doing the fun stuff.
A bit of motivation to get your skirting boards done - once they are complete and flush to the walls you will have less hide-spaces for spiders and bugs! That's one of my biggest motivations for filling in cracks and holes. Lol!

Recently came across your channel while looking for inspiration on doing up my own home (first time buyer of a fixer-upper as of March this year!) I’ve been loving your stuff as its more realistic to the average person and their budget. I found myself feeling down and overwhelmed by most others who are clearly super rich and renovate a whole house with a fleet of builders and designer kitchens and furniture etc and finish everything within a couple of months. You’ve given me sanity and a real love for actually doing my home up so I want to say a genuine thank you for that!! I’ve been slowly making my way through your whole channel, haha.

Your kitchen is coming together beautifully! I know you have a ways to go, but already it looks like such a bright, happy and inspiring space to be in and I only wish my small, dark, cramped (rented out) kitchen could look as lovely & airy. You've done so much in the short time you've moved to the house, so don't beat yourself up too much! I know people who live in the house as they renovate it often take years and years to get it all done, so you are far ahead of the game! Reward yourself with something or take a break if you need it because you've done amazing!! :)
