I loved your reaction, so full of empathy, sympathy and understanding. Stromae's song is incredible, he is an incredible artist or more justly, a genius. Thank you.

Quand c'est? Cancer. Sounds similar in French. Translatd to When will it be? And cancer, of course. A play with words. No one but Stromae is able to write such lyrics, and make such videos. This one is art, isn't it!?

Oui! First learning French I took that translation as "Cancer" and it made sense.. But now learning Francais I understand the Quand c'est meaning. And yes.. a wonderful play on words. .Cancer.. when will it be..

There is the one thing that i always say about Stromae - he is the definition of the word "Artist". He makes Art. Singing, dancing, creating great imagery of what he is telling. Art. Pure Art.

wow having two people in my inner circle suffering from cancer and having lost my grandpa to it I must say I struck tears no more than 30 seconds in the video. Not only the lyrics but how its visualised. Its just a piece of art that really strikes home. Such respect for my fellow Bruxellois.

hey friend, another beautiful song from stromae, its simple but really meaningful, just like the video. The music comes close to hiphop, while the other song you put on with also good lyrics where it praises normal monotonous jobs but singed on "traditional colombian music". In short, I understood this artist is good, he varies a lot, kinda reminds me of prince, Ill follow him. Bravo

I think (but I can be wrong) someone among his relatives has experienced anxiety and maybe loss after one of his parents got cancer, then talked with Stromae about his anger and helplessness. But he also can have read it in a book or on the radio.

Just gotta love Stromae! Haven't heard this song before, but as Stromae never disappoints I was quite confident it would turn out as awesome as it did! Thanks for continously reacting to Stromae and showing love and support!
    - Now here's another reaction alert! Yesterday THE FIRST TAKE (I've told you about that channel yesterday with the two performances of Misia on it...) released an absolutely beautiful new video! The singer in this is 'milet' and she and her pianist Cateen just blew the fish out of the pool!
According to the description Cateen is very famous, contributing both in classical music as well as in many other genres, and his piano in this is really amazing. But milet!!! OMG!!! Her voice is as beautiful and versatile as AiNA's, I will definitely check out more of her stuff, she really got me! Expect something as beautiful as AiNA's "Orchestra" performance...Also the lyrics are very beautiful, might be the perfect love song, what a great energy! So as with 'Orchestra' you will love every element of this performance, milet, the song, the lyrics, and the piano... the piano is perfect, milet is perfect... I'm going crazy, how are the Japanese doing this? Unbelievable... don't miss this, it has to be your first reaction on a FIRST TAKE whenever you will schedule it... love love love it, and if milet's other songs are as great as this one, AiNA has now got a twin sister for me, she will have to get used to not being the only one anymore... I'm mindblown again...
Title of the song is "Ordinary Days"

Hey man, wanted to ask if you play piano, based on the kind of music you suggested. If not, I wish you would reply to a question: in what way to you listen led zeppelin or genesis?

@@adolfodelfrate6069 , I had piano lessons from about 6-14 years old, I did fairly well but never got really good, my hands are too small... In those times nobody knew about smaller scaled keyboards (I was playing on my Dad's Blüthner grand piano...). I grew up basically on classic music, my Dad used to be a good piano player and if he didn't play himself he'd put on classical records or play classic radio... about 10 years old I bought my first MC from my pocket money, it was The Beatles' Greatest Hits... my next two were AC/DC... next important milestones were Pink Floyd, Toto, Genesis, Led Zep, The Doors, also Bob Marley. Marillion, Deep Purple in my teenage days...after that lots of Jazz and Blues, and about 16/17 I discovered a big love until today: Tom Waits... some important bands/artists I discovered later were dEUS/Tom Barman, Velvet Underground/Lou Reed, Nick Cave, SRV, Amy Winehouse... as an open minded broad spectrum music lover I know quite a lot artists from different genres, I can not mention them all and am sure I left out some dear ones right now.... Zeppelin are just great and I can listen to them anytime, Genesis (the older ones with Peter Gabriel) are also great for me, but require more active listening than Zep... any more questions? :-D Some newly discovered artists I dig a lot are Angelina Jordan, Haley Reinhart, Casey Abrams, Postmodern Jukebox/Scott Bradlee, AiNA THE END, Diana Ankudinova, Diana Navarro, Lara Fabian, Iyeoka, Paolo Nutini and many more...

@@Hundhammer No man, I mustve said it wrong, my question was if you play music or only listen to it... a lot of these artists are the ABC of music and I think ive seen 80% of those live except led zeppelin which I regret. I have a small group I play the guitar and my son the drums, just wanted to socialize. Like your father bought you a piano, mine bought me a guitar. He brought me to my first concert that was the greats rolling stones in the San Paolo stadium in Naples on 17 july 1982. Thanks for the reply

@@adolfodelfrate6069 after my lessons I quit playing, started again about 17 when a friend showed me the blues scales, did some Boogie Woogie and improvisations... about age 18 me and some friends started a garage Blues-Rock band, but I was the drummer, came quite easy to me after all that piano training... we'd play for like three years together, but then I left the band (I left Monaco and went to Augsburg to study Graphic design...) At that point I decided to stop playing music actively as I realized my real talent was with fine arts, pintura, calligrafia, fotografia etc... and I felt I'd better focus on one field instead of trying to dance at all weddings... about 30 I'd play (as I had the occasion having a piano at hand..) for like two years again, exercising some of the easier preludes and fugues by J.S.Bach whom I deeply admire, and some Mazurkas by Chopin... So for many years now I'm enjoying music merely passively, but of course my training and background helps with appreciating and realizing quickly which artists have substance and are worth digging deeper and which are just entertainment and showbiz...

Breast cancer has destroyed women throughout many generations on my mothers side, on my fathers side the last of my uncles that died was from lung cancer, this song hits different. I’m a woman who smokes and my best shot would be breast implants since my I have 2 discs in my column that are totally fucked.
I do annual check ups because most of the women in my family had to remove one or both breasts.
I’ve reduced my smoking by 70% lately I hope someday I won’t do it.
Cancer runs in the family and I am playing a dangerous game

Cancer is the leading cause of death worldwide. In 2020, 10M people died of cancer. The last 15 funerals I went to were because of cancer. 5 lung, 2 breast, 2 throat, 3 intestinal, 2 prostate, 1 leucemia. Smoked for ten years, 2 packs a day, and it was a damn hard battle to stop. I wish you a lot of luck and strenght.

You can do it! You can quit, i thought i would never quit after 20 years of smoking and now i couldnt even imagine smoking a cig. Once the nicotine is out of your system, then all you have to do is stay away from smokers (and drinkers for me) until you are passed the mental hurdle and just face the boredom, its worth a longer life to be somewhat bored for a year or so till you snap out of the stranglehold that smoking has on you. All the “benefits” of smoking are a lie, a dirty trick we play on ourselves, it makes you sick to inspire you to take another puff for temporary relief that makes you deeper into the sickness for less relief with each puff until you only smoke because you trained yourself to believe you cant live without it….
With peace and love, I believe in you!
