please use actual mortar i get calls all the time where tilles fall off of this junk and use grout with sealer in it just do the job the correct way to avoid problems down the raod
I was waiting for a pro to chime in. Thanks
@@Flipclockfans nah actually that's bullshit. This adhesive is impossible to get off. New technology scares old men. That's all.
@@michaelmcgee2026 my moms friend had that adhesive stuff for a tile job and all the tiles fell off in one big chunk 🤷🏽♀️ with the grouting and everything. I have never heard of something like that happening with mortar. Personally I wouldnt want a home with features that arnt built to last as long.
They either used a subpar product or didn't prep the eall correctly. This stuff works great. Pro here, this product saves my clients money by removing the time it takes for mortar to dry. Turns a 2day job into 1
@@Considerable_Ounce you don't think people fuck up tile jobs when doing thinset wrong? The issue isn't the product it was installation. When done properly this adhesive will last a very very long time.
Just be warn if you have Aircon in a heat changing areas the adhesive will start to peel back after awhile 👍😎✌️
No it wont
Just watching I new it wouldn't work
Love that idea 💡
Looks very nice👍🏻💯
Be sure to update us when they start falling off the wall. Should be a couple weeks from now.
The bond is pretty permanent. You would need to rip the wall along to take it off. The tile side shouldnt be an issue either, if the grouting was done properly.
“Back in my day..”
@@chaselesser3191 exactly. Old ways die with old men. New and better technology usually scares them.
Lol 🍻
just looks cheap
Lol is that a joke
How does the adhesive make it look cheap? You can't see it once tile is up. But I'm not a fan of those wavy tiles, not my cup of tea
Should do a follow up every 6 months for the next couple years. I used to tile set and I’m interested to see the longevity.
Beautiful I love it
WITH THE OUTCOME I WOULD RATHER TAKE THE TIME TO GROUT.
Wow, but that Tile is heavy..i cant imagine that's going to hold for long..but looks nice
Wtf. That tile is not heavy. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@michaelmcgee2026 it large which heavy doubt ever tiled a wall. I used 10x4 ceramic tiles. Unless they thin tiles those kind i don't know if they will hold as well as the smaller kind. I wonder if ones fell off other's peoples walls were marble because that would be stupid use this stuff on. I would use mortar
wow! amazing!
I am so glad that I learned about these comments.
How not to apply/remove grout 101" 😂
Oh boy, I’m gonna try that in my shower walls. 😂🤣😂
You obviously don't know anything about this product. For a backsplash that adhesive isn't going anywhere. The instructions tell you exactly what you can and cannot use it for.
@@michaelmcgee2026 hey dumb ass is a joke, I know this product dump fuck! Dont get into your bitch ass feelings 😂🤣😂
@@michaelmcgee2026 I think he meant it as a joke. I would imagine it shouldn't be used in a shower with the high moisture and humidity
Love it. Thank you for sharing
I’ve used double sided like this and it worked great
I used mosaic tumbled stone tiles that had that kind of backing on it already, just used a dremel to trim where needed. Been up in my motorhomes kitchen and bathroom (over a mirror backsplash at that) going on 5 years now and nothing has come loose. It was a total of 11 tiles so not that much added weight and the peel and stick plastic crap looked too fake and cheap for this older "luxury coach."
Love these videos it’s job security when it fails I get the call and charge double to fix that mess
You charging double is why people DIY in the first place you cockhead
@@davycornell8715 he’s charging double because now the DIYers have created a mess that he’s gonna have to clean up you cockhead
@@blueapplegirl1 thanks Liza you get it
Looks ok, especially if you plan on going with trends and change backslash again in a few years.
We used the same stuff 3 years ago. It went up like a dream, we could reposition if needed. Still as beautiful as day 1.
Good job. Mastic wouldn’t have been that much more time. You buy the premixed stuff.
Some of y’all in these comments sound bitter and jealous! Some even bringing up the next homeowners. This is what they choose to put in their home while they are living there. Stop with the negativity! It looks great… if it falls just fix it and keep going. Smdh
It came out really nice

Make sure you disclose that when you sell the house, might be a liability as it's not code.
There's no code for stuff like tile.
@@grumpyscout4745 No code I'm aware of, especially not the backsplash tile.
Code for tile installation????? 😅😅😅😅😅
Please think before you type
Code???
I'm a general contractor. I used this on my home for kitchen backsplash. This stuff is amazing and seriously a strong adhesive. I'd use it again and again. Used it for my house 3 years and and I promise you my tile ain't coming off.
Tile wouldn't come off with thin set mortar either and that's the proper way to do it. Probably cheaper too.
Wow. Very nice !
In 2 years, tiles be crashin down at 3am
This is why you ALWAYS get your inspections prior to buying. So many “flippers” go the fast and cheap route 🥴
Lmao these aren’t flippers
You think that's the cheap route? Stuff probably cost triple normal adhesive
Yes. The stuff costs so much more@@mybossisdrunk
Inspection won’t catch things like this. I found out that the house I bought last year used this stuff when I changed the backsplash. We cut around the tiled area and you can see the drywall and then tile, no layer of mortar. That stuff works extremely well to the point where it was easier to pull the entire wall section off then replace the drywall. Not sure how long it was up before we moved in but it was up for over a year when i moved in without any issues.
Been thinking about a backsplash for months now. These rolls might just make it happen. Thank you!
They are garbage use magic
Don’t use this. They make premix mastic that works great and doesn’t take any longer
This is the kind of stuff you see on infomercials at 2 am
Very beautiful! Love the clean white tile with your white cabinets. Looks rich!
Just wait until his air conditioning goes out in summer. That adhesive will let go of the tile. Just use mastic to adhere your tile backsplash
No it won't
I am in Texas next year I'll come back let you know how it went 😄
You need to take your ad or your video clip and send it to the company and ask them about advertising their product. That you did for your own purpose but it makes a great advertisement I can tell you that much because I’m impressed with it that I have thought about doing something like that myself but didn’t even know it was out there so thank you for the information on it.
Good job 👏🏾💜
That looks so nice
Gonna fall off in about a month one block every 3 days lol 🤣
Wrong. It hold too well. The only downside is the inability to adjust the tile.
3 years later and not one loose tile.
Affordable and beautiful, nice job❤
Great video thank you
Looks terrible sorry
Those are a style. Modern take on boring subway tiles with wobbly surface & roundish edges. I had them installed.
@@rossclark9155 😂 modern take on laziness
Yeah, but not because of the adhesive, its the tile, its that wavy kind and I don't like it either
Grey grout would make that backsplash pop!
Great job!!!!!
Looks great 👍
I love it.
Used this and it worked great
Thank you so much for sharing! Great to know!
Nice job!
