I think I understand your question, I will put a full sequence here, so I can repeat it myself! :-) 1. come closer safely (car crashes, damaged buildings) to a child 2. seek for response 3. call for help LOUD 4. clear/open the airways (leaning head back and jaw thrust) 5. check breathing (by listening to it) 6. children usually callapse because of choking -> perform 5 initial breaths 7. then start CPR sequence (30:2) by pushing chest to a minimum/almost maximum of 1/3 of chest diameter in a frequency of 100/min, baby 1 year old and younger should be repeatedly pressed by two thumbs, one hand heart massage is performed on bigger kids (before puberty) and both hands are used on teenagers and adults 8.after 1 minute of initial "care", call 999, 911 or other emergency number in your country (or if you are with company, make him/her do that in the beginning) 9. go on with 30:2 sequence (breathing into baby(!) airways should by gentle, only using air volume of your mouth) 10. continue till you are completly exhausted
