That's not necessarily what's happening here -- the government has every motivation to care a lot about their diplomatic corps, and State Department officers are generally treated very well. But when you're dealing with an unknown entity, diplomats in adversarial missions scattered across the world, and delicate international relations, it's important to figure out EXACTLY what's happening before publicly pointing fingers.
Obviously I dunno anything, but, from everything I've heard/watched/read about Havana Syndrome, I would think that it's due to intelligence-gathering technology, rather than an actual weapon, and that the symptoms are adverse effects...

It’s not mysterious. I’m retired military and we had microwaves as non-lethal weapons more than 25 years ago. Not a stretch of the imagination that our adversaries use them too.
How does it (the weapon) target a specific individual or a family? Or do others around a targeted individual get afected? How do they "dose" the exposure? Why do they target these individuals? What are the common denominator among the patients?

1. What weapon can send unnatural heat through a closed window at a victim?
2. What weapon sends an unseen force that makes a slamming sound on the roof and causes their victim below to convulse and feel nauseous? (Note: The victim has no history of epilepsy.)
3. What weapon can silently strike a victim through a wall, or ceiling in the same spot on their body? It will leave no visible mark, but it will inflict internal bruising on their ribs.
4. What weapon can silently strike a victim's chest through a car's windshield without damaging it. However, the victim will suffer possible scarring to a lung?
5. What weapon can painfully sting a victim's eyelids both indoors and outdoors?
Note: The names of these weapons would be appreciated. I'm an American civilian and I was struck by all of them.
@@annseven7166Microwaves. It sounds like they use something lower level that creates a cumulative effect over time. The cooking appliances have metal screens over their window to stop microwaves, so glass isn't enough to block them. Microwaves cook you. They can damage lungs/tissues and cause bleeding which I assume can result in bruises.
Look up masers (microwave lasers). A google search also shows room temperature masers being a more recent thing too.
With how good transmitter technology has improved in the last decade, it certainly is possible china and russia are sharing some precision laser weapon they use to harm unprotected US officials. It can even involved crossing two or more of them at specific points so the cross point is the minimum level of radiation to cause damage over time and nothing else is damaged. The lower the power and the better the directionality, the harder it would be to detect. They could also monitor who is in the apartment or nearby to try to hide it as much as possible by turning it off and on.

I worked DOD with missiles and we had surveillance equipment running 24/7 from the installation ... even picked up one "bleeding" signal from a garage door owner back in 1974???

This is not new. I met a guy in the 1970s who suffered these same symptoms after working at the embassy in Moscow. He said they thought if was caused by microwaves beamed into the building but nobody was paying much attention.
A revolutionary in puerto rico in the 70s was locked up in an asylum and they did the same to him. Except it was high amounts of radioactive waves and he was never the same after. Pedro Albizu Campos

So, are you telling me that the US could not install detectors to provide difinitive evidence? I do not believe this. Please explain what physicists, if any, were hired to investigate, and what techniques they employed. I am not saying this did not happen. What I am saying is that the claim that the US could not detect this radiation is absurd.
It’s even dumber than that. The supposed victims were given MRIs and there was no sign of brain abnormality in any of them - which wouldn’t be the case if they had been hit with radiation or ultrasound. And several victims had audio of the attack… Which entomologists easily identified as being mating Cuban crickets…

@@jayjack2046 Well, there is an engineering principle behind it. It is called a Faraday Shield. Primitive? Yes, but on the fly it is better than nothing.
These symptoms are similar to " otitis interna". My dad and I both were diagnosed with this. We were given antibiotics and it cleared up. If this can be caused by a weapon it's dangerous. You lose balance, headache, and nausea. It's scary. I thought I was having a stroke at 45yrs old.

I worked at Main state from 2001 to 2003 as a contractor (remember, when you complain about government contractors they NEED them because Government employees don't work past 5, weekends or holidays) in the SCIF. I have no sympathy for ANY STATE Department employee, the reason we HAVE a military is because of their constant failures. they spent half the day in the "Foggy Bottom" cafe downstairs and the other half yelling at each other. If they are at an embassy not only do they get US holidays off but host country holidays as well. THEY ARE NEVER THERE! When I was at the Embassy in Iraq, they spent the entirety of 2004 having John Kerry rallies instead of trying to help the Iraqi's. WORTHLESS! so if they get their brains fried it is no loss

This started happening to me 14 years ago. Since then I’ve meet hundreds of other civilian victims. And I’ve read accounts of dozens of veterans experiencing what I believe are similar attacks. This is a massive problem that is deliberately swept under the rug.

It happen to me as well. And I has been victimized of a gang stalking around my neighborhood. They've been stalking me for a very long time till these days for no apparent reason at all. And I couldn't wrapped my head around it !!! They make me look like some kind of a paranoid. I couldn't talk about it because they think I'm crazy and making it all up. I just keep it to myself. Those people keep intimidating me, and harassing me on the road. They targeting me. One of my suspect is a police officer's.

Sounds like something i experienced several years ago at South Lake Tahoe. I could always hear the pitch in 1 particular place and it interfered with memory.
As additional background note that a microwave oven is tuned to a specific frequency of 2.45 gigahertz (GHz) which is the frequency that causes water molecules to vibrate and thereby create a temperature rise. Years ago I wrote a patent disclosure called RF insecticides. In this disclose a microwave source is tunable to a specified frequency. An antenna system then broadcasts the microwave energy in a highly directional manner. The microwave frequency selected is determined by tests of the susceptibility of specific insect species to be killed or sterilized by a specific frequency. I suspect each insect species will have unique molecules within it that would be resonated by the microwave frequency and thereby damage that specific insect species (say for example a bowl weevil) but not harm a beneficial species like a spider. The system would then be deployed to irradiate a farmers field and the microwave frequency be adjusted to eliminate resident pest insects. I bet that is exactly what our adversaries have done. They have researched what microwave frequencies can damage human brain molecules, developed a portable highly directional transmitter and caused the brain damage as reported in the article. Simple enough to do. Also if we are serious it is simple enough to detect, locate the the exact position of the transmitter and capture the perpetrators. The CIA director acts like this is difficult to do. Nonsense, it is simple to do and commercial equipment of relatively low cost can easily be deployed to detect and locate the offending microwave source.

The description the gentleman in China provided, the sound of a marble circling down a metal funnel, indicates they were slowly sweeping the frequency across a spectrum, which would allow the energy to pass the resonant frequency that causes the damage. It would be extremely easy to locate the transmitter with a spectrum analyzer and a wide band antenna. I could do it in one afternoon, I'm an EE in that line of work. The fact that they did not locate it, indicates either the transmitter was shut off, or it never existed, or they just never looked for it. Important to realize that Parkinson's is the fastest growing disease in the US right now, and no one knows the cause. There are theories that it is caused by TCE, Round-up, or some other pesticide. The fact that Parkinson's is growing so fast, indicates it is NOT a directed energy weapon used by China. I would not be surprised if China did do it, but I doubt it, because I don't see a motive. Also, keep in mind China uses many pesticides, their version of the FDA is much more lax than ours. If you are living in China its very possible you are consuming their pesticides, which may cause health problems like they describe. These pesticides find their way into the water table, and persist for decades. It's a huge problem, its why people buy organic fruits and vegetables. Kennedy is the ONLY politician talking about this problem, the others just ignore the problem. Extremely important NOT to jump to conclusions about China, if you can't prove it, don't start a war because of it.

@@ellenorbovay5226 Clearly the evidence is classified. The BBC wrote an article regarding and noted very clearly that all the evidence collected by the victims was collected and classified. The news in general regarding this tech is so disinformation in regards to exacting details. Kind of like Spanish Inquisition style denying firearms existed and claiming God was striking their victims down. Allen Frey even has noted publicly that he doesn't believe the exact details of the systems will be declassified in his lifetime. ADS, Silent Guardian, MEDUSA and other systems are well known and somewhat documented with disinformation attached to those systems as well. Literally, like the KGB was somewhat copied by the CIA and there was literally an office of Disinformation.
This story with it's bold, and likely correct, claims of a directed energy attack helps in the restoration of CBS News to being a truth seeking organization especially as it challenges the government's claims of things like "existing injuries", psychosomatic symptoms, and inaction. This is the kind of journalism that our country needs. I feel great empathy for the victims that have been stonewalled and marginalized.

I live in a section 8 housing building and a few people have had the ringing and odd random pains.

This happened to me in Canada, I went to so many eye doctors and ear doctors trying to figure out what was happening to me. It doesn’t just happen to government workers. I lost my hair , eye sight went blurry, hives, nose bleeds , hearing loss and a buzzing, really bad memory issues and started having psychosis . I don’t know if it’s our own government doing it on people as test subjects or it’s because your anti government. I still have bald spots on my head from it and have to wear glasses now. I caught a man stalking me and took a picture of his car even. He would park in front of my house on a dead end street every day and I caught him taking a picture of my daughter in my car. That’s when I followed him. He never returned after I called the police on him. The RCMP gaslit me and said he was probably a confused old man but would tell him to stop. I ended up in the psych ward because of this against my will after getting so confused. Now all of my credibility is gone. I also have pictures of people in the forest behind my house with cameras. If this isn’t proof that “gang stalking “ exists then I don’t know what is. The American Government just released a public conference admitting that this technology is real.
I have been hearing that sound with pressure for over 20 years living close to Boston Logan airport. In 2013, I woke up with severe vertigo. The symptoms lasted 5 weeks. Eleven years later, I am no longer in that state but still have vertigo symptoms and severe tinnitus. Could this be related.

Like Gulf War illness it is not a real or unique phenomenon. It is a bunch of unrelated cases of neurological conditions, stress, PTSD, infection from foreign illnesses, chronic inflammation, aging, pollution, parasites, contaminated third world water, carcinogens, emotional issues (somatic symptom disorder), chronic vestibular disease (vertigo as people grow older), anti-malarial drugs, allergic reactions, physical trauma, and exposure to pesticides banned in the USA but common in third world countries.

My list of health issues is a mile long including "Peripheral Neuropathy", as I'm rated 100% disabled by both the US and Australian Veterans Administrations.. My team (2/502 Inf, 101st Airborne) spent just over 330 days in the jungle on the DMZ and Laos Boarder. No one from my team is alive, plus every Australian Vietnam Veteran I've been friends with have died or took their own lives! I've never felt so alone. My new doctors' line; "But you don't have the "markers" for such and such disease". "Thank you for your service"? a little too late...
Protect and take care of those people.

This happened to me in South Korea: it went on for nearly a year until I was forced to escape it. I recovered , but my ears are still ringing continually today. It was terrifying, but very much the same as many other victims of it.

I had the same symptoms starting from 2014 or 2015 for quite a lot of years and I have been living in San Diego, California, USA! I want what happened to me investigated because it destroyed my life! I had lived like a disabled person for many years but without any help that a disabled person would have gotten. I want those responsible to be brought to justice!

Sure kids who are using cell phones and microwaves and any source of rads exposure. People want to blame others for our over usage of these things. Don’t forget the dentists, ct scans, cell towers, if people did research on the amount of rad we are exposed to on a daily basis it will make sense!

I worked at a nuclear facility a very long time ago. There were microwave transmitters throughout the location. I could hear it and it would make me want to get away from it. I could hear it and feel it. I would ask other people that worked there if they could hear it. No one could hear it besides me. I thought that i was just imagining it. But, there were areas that i couldn't bear being around. Labs that i couldn't wait to get away from. It hasn't seemed to have effected me, as i have been away from it for close to fifety years. I do know that you can hear it and feel it, but not everyone can. Probably depends on the intensity and distance from the transmitter.

While I feel badly for our intelligence agents, diplomats and troops, it's no stretch at all to think that it might be our own devices causing issues like these. Ho do I find out if I have this? I have these exact same issues and my main issues are from sound and it also is my number one trigger…sound is. My neurologist said he thinks I’m having hemiplegic migraines and it causes right side paralysis. I used to be a flight attendant. But sound is my number one issue and it causes severe memory loss, headaches, nose bleeds, bruises….who do I reach out to. Me not my neurologist nor any other doctor knows what the actual issue that has causes this! Someone please reach out to me!
My mom somehow got it in her head that my dad had Parkinson's disease. He started shuffling around, hanging his head to his chin, his hands started shaking, and had other typical Parkinson's symptoms. It took months during the pandemic to get a neurologist appointment.Then the doctor ran all the tests and told my dad that he did NOT have Parkinson's, and by the time my dad got home, all his symptoms were gone.

I filed a complaint with the state department at the recommendation of a retired NSA whistleblower. The state department referred all of my information to the FBI and there was no investigation performed. However, because I told the state department that I maintained evidence of the noise campaign to the metal roofs of my buildings miraculously, all the audio disappeared from all of my videos.I’m adding this. I contacted PETA, people for the ethical treatment of animals because one of the buildings that was Targeted was my 501 C3 nonprofit cat rescue. PETA said that they have been receiving calls across the country for the same reasons.

It might be your brain screeching, as is how i live for over 7 years..... not tinnitus; vertigo so bad, hubby has to sit while i am in shower, so i do not fall; can no longer walk independently.
