I played this for my six year old grandson, and about halfway through he said, "I don't know why, but I feel like I'm gonna cry". I explained that sometimes things can be so beautiful that it makes you cry. So if you ever wonder if your music truly matters, play this for a young child. A heartbreakingly lovely performance.

My mom loved the Lord with all her heart and died early at 51. As a small child I would see her in the kitchen doing dishes and she would be singing this old song. My how I miss her tonight. Hug your living loved ones and tell them how much you love them because when the Lord takes them home it will change you forever. I am 65 now but I still remember her singing this like it was yesterday. May this song bring you hope and comfort!

You could be telling my life, it was so much like yours. Mom died when she was 62 and I was in my early 20s. I am 70 this year and still remember her singing this song, not just at Christmas, but anytime during the year that her heart needed a lift. Their performance of this song brought all those memories back for me too. Bless you.

My Dad died three years ago this last January and one of the things I am so very thankful for is that I can still hear the sound of his voice in my head. Yes, it is a great gift from God. Dad can still bring me solace and a peacefulness. That was unexpected.

I have only been a fan for a month, when a friend sent me this song at Christmas. I am 62 and disabled and I want you to know that I absolutely love love all your music. I was in a gospel singing group when I was 14 years old.We were called "The Ambassadors". Singing country gospel since I was 8. My first solo was "How Great Thou Art". Singing got me through some pretty tough times. Your beautiful harmony voices have instilled the love I have had in both country music and the beautiful gospel hymns. Now on my darker days when I get frustrated that I live in a wheelchair, your music uplifts my testimony and soul. I am going to become a patron and buy some of your CDs this coming week. Just wanted you to know Home Free that I listen to your awesome harmony every night! I hope perhaps you will do a concert in Boise, ID soon. I will definitely be there, it will be so worth the 80 mile trip!! God bless you all!!💖

Lost my grandfather last year on Christmas eve as I got into the car to leave this song was playing at 12am. This was a man I looked up to my hole life not a day goes by don't think about him. At the funeral as i sat in the front row I seem to set there with questions until once again I heard this song during the service I knew my grandfather was a peace and it was the song that help me understand this. I'll always support you're music defiantly my favorite group out there thank you.

I just love Tim’s voice in the opening of this song every time I hear it the hair on my arms raises. Born in Texas, Tim’s very slight totally natural Texas twang gives it an extra something special. His beautiful med lotic tones whether he is singing Tenor or Bass always just demand attention. Each year since 2014 I have played this song and their CD starting in November. Fell upon them on Facebook in 2014 and have seen them 6 times since. They are not only great singers they are GREAT HUMANS. Austin, you look like a baby in this video.......so happy for all their success. Well deserved!
I've never heard of this group until today. My loss! I'm listening to this in January 2020. Absolutely wonderful. So heartfelt. Im crying as I listen.

It's already November 2021 and Christmas is just a few weeks away. Whenever I hear this song from the other artists, I always remember this rendition and I keep coming back to it. It's very calming and just soooo relaxing to listen to this rendition, it touches my soul. This past 2 years may be tough for all of us because of the world's situation, but let's end the year with a grateful heart and still look forward for a better world. Never lose hope, my friends! This is the best version of this song out there that I've heard so far. Great, great talent with these men. True ranges sung with precise accuracy...beautiful. The young one at the end and the baritone in the beginning made my day. I was so disappointed with the versions of this song sung previous to me finding this which means...there are miracles.
I grew up in Minnesota, many years ago. I would love to hear/see you guys sing at the cathedral of St Paul. The building is amazing (I got a chance to tour it as an adult about 10 years ago) and I can only imagine how wonderful the acoustics might be there. If you should ever get to Yuma, Az. I can hook you up with an amazing place to sing here too!

Isn't it just like the devil to get everyone riled up and have everyone miss the beautiful message of these Christmas songs. He is stealing everyone's Joy/Cheer and missing the intent of the song. How ironic that Home Free's album is called Full of Cheer and everyone is letting the devil steal that from them. Let's just enjoy Home Free's rendition of all these songs. Looks like they put a lot of work into them and they are simply beautiful!!!

Every year at this time, I listen to this arrangement of my favorite Christmas song. Every year, a newer hope washes over me. Especially now in this year 2021 when the wolves are at my door and my prayers deepen for that hope to wash over me once more, again and again. I am not particularly Christian but was raised in a Christian home. But my faith in God and my prayers to the Almighty become truer as I grow older. Thank you Home Free. Thank you for reminding me that there are times, especially during my darkest days, that the Almighty is still with me. All I need is a little bit of faith.
I am so blessed to have this group a part of my life.
