Damn right! Meanwhile people keep talking about Hendrix and yes he was great and died early. However, Prince has far more solos for us to listen to that blow Hendrix out of the water in my opinion. Unlike Prince, we only heard a glimpse of Hendrix's music, in which he never reached his full potential as an artist and guitarist.
Prince has been almost away from us for 3 years now, but we are forever hooked on his love, gifts and musical talents. Still marveling over him... Always and Forever!!!
WOW!!! I grew up listening to Prince thanks to my mom..I am 21 years old and my mom is now 45. My mom has 5 sisters and 6 brothers.. all of them born and raised in Mexico..and all of them are ino the mexican music and all that, you know: typical banda music, cumbia..etc.. BUT my mom is the only one that doesn't like that music at all.. she only listened to Prince ever since she was 11 years old.. Keep in mind that being a mexican little girl, not knowing any english..fell in love with Prince.. and thats all she listens to till this day..Matter of fact, I think she learned English because of him... lol Every Christmas I always have to order her Prince stuff online because thats all she wants 😂 Yall can imagine the big heartbreak and the cryings we went through when Prince passed away.. ohhh Prince you are so deeply talented.. Opening night Miles Davis played a few songs, Wendy & Lisa and George Clinton, who wasn't in the band at that time but Prince was producing GC's record at Paisley. Many talented musicians in the world, but only one PRINCE. No one did it sexier, or more original, or had more fun doing it. Thankfully my girlfriend was a twin city girl so I was around in the beginning of the ride, what a tremendous loss. Thanks for the funk PRINCE, rest easy little man.
