₹2k-₹2.5k/ day cab for Kufir and Chail visit
₹2k-₹3k/day a good hotel in mall road (but depending on season)
Food - depending what you eat
Total - ₹4-5k/ day for 2.

Jarurat nahi paregi, but hill stations pe ek hoodie rakh lene me better hai kyu ki evening hote hi jarurat par sakti hai. 🙂

Depends aap kaise aa rahe ho. Agar aap Bus/train se aa rahe ho to Mall road ya usi ke aaspas ya agar khud ki car se aa rahe ho to Bharari / Dalli side jo Shimla 5-6km hai waha pe aapko acche Homestay ke options mil sakte hai
