Do you know that there are other ways to extinguish the candles apart from blowing?
Here is an amazing science experiment that shows the one of the methods to extinguish the candle without blowing.
With this experiment, you will be able to understand the effect of combination of sound vibrations and air.

Here it is;
WHAT YOU NEED?
-Rubber band
-Stretch wrap
-Scissors
-Paper cup
-Candle
-Lighter
HOW TO DO?
1- Make a hole at the bottom of the paper cup,
2- Cover the top of the paper cup with the piece of stretch wrap and use the rubber band to fix the stretch wrap,
3- Light the candle,
4- Bring the paper cup with the side of the hole close to the candle and gently tap the side of the paper cup covered with stretch wrap (You will see that candle goes out).
WHY?
Air is a form of matter and it takes up space even in an empty paper cup. When we tap the side of the paper cup covered with stretch wrap, we create vibrations and that makes the "sound". The sound consists of vibrations and moves through the air. The air inside the paper cup moves with the effect of the sound waves we created and came out of the hole and extinguish the candle.
