There is no wireless extender option in my wireless setup panel. Do you know what is the problem.
can i change the frequency the repeater mode broadcasts in to 5ghz while having the main router in 2.4 ghz and in theory get reed of the speed penalty
I have issue with all tv cast platforms (CZcams, spotify, alexa dot, oculus quest 2). Sometime disconnect after 10sec and sometime can't connect at all. Same with 2.4 and 5.0.
upnp already enabled. this case can be solved with this pattern ?

the router needs to be connected to the first cable device in order to use the repeater function or after the configuration does it perform this function like any other traditional repeater?
Hi, after configuration, the repeater would be connected to the primary router in wireless mode. It will work as normal router and can have different security password from primary router. Only thing is that the devices connected to this router will be shown as connected to primary router.

Hello, the speed of both routers may not be the same. Lower speed router will work at lower speed.

Hello, in this tutorial the tenda device used can be connected to main router wirelessly. Hence, it is not required to connect it main router through wire. Yes, you can keep it anywhere within the range of primary router.

Nao o roteador vai conectar ao dispositivo via wireless.

Hello, it means either the router does not support wireless bridging or there is some other way to do it. You might need to look for any other video related to your router.

hello i followed the tutorial to the point but as soon as i disable the DHCP on the repeater router it will marge as you said but then i cant connect coz it says failed to obtain IP

I do all the steps, but when I connect with the repeater it says "No Internet Connection" for some reason! Can I get some help.. is there anything to do about the main router?

Once I disable DHCP, I can't access the internet. None of my devices that were connected to the main router can now also not connect to the internet. Many people have this problem but nobody ever seem to reply with the solution.

Hello, make sure that you have followed the steps properly. Check whether you have put proper ip address for this router which is not used by any other device. Also, check your main router's DHCP server Range. In my case it was 192.168.0.1 while yours can be 192.168.1.1 or something else.

Hi, If the router has similar functions like above and not showing base router that could only mean that base router signals are weak. Try keeping both routers nearby. If the problem persists, then try checking channel settings of both the routers. They both must be operating on the same channel.

It means the secondary cannot find a wifi signal nearby. Keep the secondary nearer to the primary.

What does it say? If it is connected without any ip conflict then the internet must work in secondary.

Hello, it depends on your type of Internet Service Provider (DSL or ADSL) and the brand of Router. There are several other videos on CZcams for the same. Also, the motive of this video is to cover only the configuration of secondary router.

@@abdulrauf2796 Hello, i am assuming that your base router is tp link and secondary is tenda. Is the primary router not shown while scanning option in the secondary router? @@m.y.l.e.6328 it was working for the first time when I used universal repeater option. But 192.168.0.1 is not accessible. So I reset the router. Now it's not working
@@pvinayak96 Hello, this might mean that both the routers have DHCP server turned on have same ip address gateway 192.168.0.1 which leads to ip address conflict. This may be a reason i could think of now.
