Lisa should be in the hall of fame she is an iconic vocalist
Hurricane Lisa, what a force. Untouchable set of pipes there's not enough words to describe this untouchable voice 🔊🔊🙏🏻✌🏻
Absolutely Right❗️❗️❗️❗️😲😲😲😲
You are so right...she was so beautiful...there is a lot on utube of her....
Yes 😊.
Love Lisa, love Mick, love Keith, love STONES! I could listen to this, in looping, till I die!
She's a goddess what voice!
Lisa is a goddess, fabulous voice , great stage presence and so beautiful
These Oakland shows were so freakin' great!
Great performance and Lisa is so beautiful!
For any Lisa Fischer fans out there that may have missed it, Lisa is featured prominently in a brilliant documentary called 20 Feet From Stardom. It's one of my favorite films of the year.
Yes, a great documentary and rightful Academy Award Winner. One is treated to Lisa's amazing vocal range and artistic sensibilities in the film. Also Darlene Love is featured prominently.
Lisa Fischer just takes over the stage! I barely noticed Mick. Keef and Ronnie literally disappear.
I love Lisa, I love her voice and her strong presence
look how beautiful these two are.
I've been bitten, I've been tossed around by every she-rat in this town has to be one of the greatest lines in rock and roll history.
this is really well sung by Mick Jagger. These guys are really old by 94...clean, top shelf.
and rockin...
Lisa. Beautiful creature and great talent.
~~~I was blown away when they did this in concert. I didn't remember ever hearing it so I did not know if it was new or what. It's from Beggar's Banquet from what the 60's? It was during their steel wheels tour in the mid to late 70's when I seen them do this. Probably my favorite song of the night!!!!~~~
Not from Beggar's Banquet...It's from "Let it Bleed".
I went to this VERY concert and this song was done AMAZINGLY! Lisa Fischer literally blew Mick off of the stage....he was bowing down to her GREATNESS of voice! This whole concert was AWESOME!!!!
It was a amazing concert wasn't it! I was there too. Front row center isle.
@@catherinemachell4516 front row!! We were in the upper tiers...middle. my girlfriend missed the opening act Seal (she wasn't too happy about that)...but...the Rolling Stones more than made up for it.
@@briannorby we got lucky. My mom and I were on the phone with Ticketmaster when they announced Halloween concert, so we snagged them right away. It was a pretty penny, but it was definitely worth it. In the video you can see the top of my mom's head and everyone else who came with. At about 12 second into the video, and then again you see my uncle smiling. Laugh out loud they got the top of my red hat in the video.Yeah afterwards we went to the Richmond Denny's oh, and they wouldn't v serve us any food. Lol good times
@@catherinemachell4516 freakin awesome!! Now I've got to go check that out! Those were the days!! Amazing concerts! Loved living in the Bay Area during the 90s.
No others gest singers could touch her
It's a shame that Lisa Fischer is not mentioned anywhere in the Rock and Roll hall of fame with the Rolling Stones as it is her mighty voice and stage presence that has contributed to so much of their shows and music.
She switched from black music to white music got lost I never knew she sung with them until these clips why she switched
Da!!!!
Absolutely❗️❗️❗️Lisa was the best vocalist in all Rolling Stones Era...!!!! Best Strong Voice and Rock Interpetation❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️
Lisa...che voce...che potenza!!!! Una bomba atomica!
To me that is driven by Charlie and one of the most refined riffs there is.
And how they helped (changed key and lots of echo and reverb) Lisas godly voice to shine above.
Fine art!
Lisa = FIERCE!
Lisa is so wonderfully animated! Phenomenal voice. I know everybody loves the Rolling Stones, but Lisa Fischer is the star here.
Linda W. Jagger has no voice, he is not a rock singer. Can not compared to her
Jagger had a hot voice sound very exitingn but not really strong
yes. lisa adds a whole incredible dynamic. they complimemnt each other.
+Fry You almost fooled me, but if you can get a Grammy for your solo-work, you can't be that bad.
Nobody has ever upstage Lisa Fischer. You have to hand it to the Stones though, they must have known this yet still let her lose on stage with them for years.
YOU JUST HAVE TO SAY , OK THE STONES TOOK MOST OF THE 80'S OFF BUT THEY CAME BACK TOUGH AND ROCK YOUR WORLD THREW THE 90'S , SORT OF LIKE THEY DID FIN THE 70'S , THAT'S WHY THERE THE BEST
an awesome song...love love the Stones XOXO
Love this song! Added to my live Stones playlist.
Awesome song and quality!! Thanks :) ♥♥♥
Great song
And Lisa steals the song again , love her
Voodoo Lounge rocks, Lisa Fisher awesome.
Lisa is awesome
Love me some Lisa Fiscy
Love me some Lisa Fischer
love the Stones and Lisa is gorgeous!!!!
Mick, Lisa y Los Rolling Stones, apoteotico !!!!!
This is why they're the greatest Rock and Roll band ever
One of my favourite tracks from the album 'Let it Bleed' and it is such a shame that radio stations never play this song.
Stuart Stone oh no... be glad. They’d surely wear it out. It’s become another beast of burden or something. Is this the coolest stone song or What?
Probably cause they can't play the lyric junkie on radio..so effed up
I can't believe I never heard this song until 2 years ago or so!
I blame the radio stations!
Saw this tour in 94 in Cincy
there yago again....! LOVE THOSE BLUES!!!!!
I was married to a woman at least as beautiful as Lisa, with her for over 20 years, still talk to her often. In my opinion black women rule the world.
Slava tebe BOZSHE ☦️🇷🇺🌍🌎🇺🇦📿🙏🇬🇷🛐 Amin.
Voto a esa chica como nueva cantante de los Stones.
The boys could still get it together, on occasion, like here in 94.
Her and Mick have definitely smashed after the concert
+dubseedz757 *nods quickly* o_o for sure.
+Ciara “Ebony” Majesty Im jealous
***** I know you are ;D
;))
lol..yep
it must have been special to see them do this one live.
It was! I'll never forget it.
Lisa stole the show, this song and Gimme Shelter on Voodoo Lounge tour
Superb!! :)
Sandy Martinelli Sullivan
.
This is the only album I bought by the Rolling Stones. Mick is great I just didn't have much money at the time.
Freaking classic rock ! yep !
Nobody can mess with dah fisher cat 🐈
My theme song !!
Lisa!
Was there that night- being Halloween I thought more people would have dressed up. The Stones would have loved it
Una canzone fuoriclasse per artisti fuoriclasse
LISA'S best Year.😊
Man I love Lisa , she is the only rolling stone that can make it work.
That's a real woman right there, damn it.
Espetáculo a parte
cool song
Love me some Mary Clayton
Lisa Fischer is the best!!!!!!
Elle est aussi la plus belle et plus sexy!!!!!!
Think this is the closest the stone's ever came to jazz, or maybe should I call it funk, especially the intro. Great tune, thanks for sharing the footage!
Wow.
I don't unnerstand. Mick is & Lisa are sexy Enough.
Kieth is Kieth.
Great song..great post.
Listen, and, enjoy.
Shit. Fave Stones....I cannot unwatch this.
She upstaged Mic every time. He was a brave man to step on stage with her so often,
You bet !
Haha thank you Lisa! She outperfomanced Mick to much lol
mrZillion i totally agree sounds horrible
Nice version of a great tune. Sounds like it was recorded through the board.
I was at this concert !!!!!!!!! after concert meet my ex-girlfriend after she went to Halloween party dressed as Elvira she had the goods to fill out that costume oh! my!!
Dang Lisa owned this in '94. Epic.
En 1994 ils en avaient encore sous la pédale d'un blues juteux comme à la sortie de "let it bleed" après hélas ...
R &R
Good God Ya'll.
Demais
She could outsing Jagger and he knew it! Should have made her a permanent member of the band!
She just retired in 16 I think,sasha Allen is her replacement,she's not bad but no will ever top lisa
She could outsing anyone. Not many singers can take her
I can take her...:)
Now that you mention it,
well hell,
you are correct.
P.S...I knew it was wrong when I typed it....:Haste makes waste.
:)
What happened to lisa's body? Are you kidding? That body is in its mid fifties and it is awesome!
Obviously, you are not in your fifties....
*****
True! But once I saw her on stage. I got into black women and never looked back.
Well, in 1994 Lisa was 36 years old and not in her fifties😂
She filled out now..shes older
I know there's another live performance of this song where Lisa also sings this song. It used to be on CZcams but it was deleted lately. I think it was in Japan. Does anyone know where I can find it?
Lisa Fisher (Fischer) ist gut!
I've never heard a weaker tone from Keith. Sounds more like a Fender played through a Yamaha keyboard than les Paul. Woody ain't real loud either. And they are playin' like they're just warming up through a sound check. Yet, this fuckin' great! It works somehow. I just prefer and expect a much higher energy level from this song. But this is unique and very good.
yo bass drums hold first minute regular temp while guitar comes in off slower sloppier speed then magic.
+rankoutsider
They had a really weak-ass guitar sound on the Voodoo Lounge tour. For some reason, both Keith and Ronnie stripped distortion and heaviness out of their rigs, and it left a really thin, wimpy sound in place.
Monkey Man is a frustrating song. It's a great intro and guitar riff, one of the first I ever learned, but Jagger never bother to write decent words for it. The energy for any song comes from the lyrics. Any edginess Mick injects he immediately diffuses ("That's not really true!") For the musicians, it's tough to put your energy into a song about cold Italian pizzas. The original version is fine. I suspect the music was recorded before Mick even wrote the lyrics.
+rankoutsider
I thought the same thing !!!. Not to mention I felt the keyboards were a bit weak sounding as well. I imagine if one had been actually at this concert it would have sounded even more disappointing. Something close to the version from Madison Square Garden 2003 is more along the lines of what I was expecting:czcams.com/video/h4CrCTndkKc/video.html
On subsequent tours when they played it ,there was more sustain/slight reverb for Keith's guitar...here it sounds like room mode where a clap would be be a dead sound
Monkey Werx, whiskey werx 4 me.
Hot Damn
This was my first date with my future wife! Love You @Claudine #imstillyourmpnkeyman
"Rock Em Sock Em" "LISA"!"
And It's very generous and cool of Jagger to give Lisa the floor but he shouldn't let Steven Tyler upstage him, ever! With all respect to Mr. Tyler, he built his entire fantastic career off this period and I'd say exactly this song. In fact I think I read an interview where Tyler admits it. Steven Tyler locked in the coolest Jagger fase. Well, not exactly. MJ has had a 50 year career being cool even when he's not.
Lisa Fischer is so hot and has a great voice. I know that was Mick's woman for sure!
No. That was only for the show. Mick is happily married, father and grandfather. Lisa Fischer is single.
mabe not her favorite music but she dominated the floor
Lisa Stole this Song.😊
I before E,
except after C....:)
Keith Richards?
How old are you? Do you think you're going to look the same at 50 as you did at 20?
You are right, i´m 59, but i dont walk on the stage..
She was hot!
That heifer that came out there on stage remains me of the painting of Marie LaVole or however you spell the Voodoo Queen of Nawlins.She shore had that BrownSugar strutting.
She'd probably give Mick a heart attack iffen she laid some of that puddin' on his old ass.
Heifer LOL My buddies and I used to call girls that bothered us in Jr High Heifers. Until we figured out dating. We were idiots back then.
keef!! anything else need be said? ohh and lisa... marry me you great mocha fleshed godess!!!! i love yo0u so much
what happened to lisas body nowadays?
It changed a little
Are you sure?
I have been told that I was.
I promise.
? Was Mik dancin w a TransVyte?.
I wish that it would just be the Stones playing without all the backup playing. Lisa Fischer is the only one who should stay skip the rest of the backups, pianos, basses & what evar the Stones have added since the mid 70's.
Patrick Bislev Funny, they've had pianos, bases whatever since they started 56 years ago in 1962.
could have done without the delay. better used on "sympathy for the devil"
That's how you spell Keith.... Kieth?.... SHIT!! I been spelling my name wrong for 54 years, no one told me!! who the hell is Kieth???
Mick should Hire a Backing Vocalist to Cover His Lost Range....
@ Steven...he's already been doing that for years.
@@eightinches6094 Yeah, Lisa Fischer/Sasha Allen and Bernard Fowler covered for Jagger's weak vocals.
I hear you.
I didn't make the I before E rule.
Some English teacher did.
So the English language, and you, may I add,
are a wee touch screwed up.
Spell your name correctly,
if you can. :)
is this recording speeded up or did they change the key/tempo? I don't really love it with Lisa on it - wish it were just Mick etc al.
Slava Ukraini, ☦️🇺🇦📿🙏, Amin.
your nose.
Cute little song...but nowhere NEAR the Rock God Energy of the ZEP..!!!
