You could use one of those glass make-up/cosmetology practice heads instead of a real face, it wouldnât squish like a real face and it itâs prob a bit more sanitary đ
Maybe you could just use a silicone mold and make a negative of the face where you could pour chocolate inside after ist washed.there is body friendly silicone afterall.
Only problem with that is that It wouldn't really look like anyone, It could still work as a very basic starting point though.
I donât think sanitation is a problem. he only touched the icing sugar, and even the surface layer of that came off when he lifted his head up, and the remaining icing sugar was removed anyway.

Edit: at least if you make Van Gogh, you'd only have to make one ear lol. I think you did an amazing job, and I think your version of Dwayne was excellent. I've been doing art for over 20 years, and I could never makes that!

Maybe use cornstarch next time. Candy makers use cornstarch for moldsđ€·đœââïž

I was looking for this comment. The cornstarch would have to be packed down and levelled. If you were to use someone face, you would probably have to apply even firm pressure onto the back of their head though to try and get a better mould. đ€·đŒââïž

My husband watched this video & the guitar cake video with me. Heâs become quite the fan. Our two daughters love your video channel too. Thereâs something for whole family. Btw, our youngest (23; oldest is 32, soon to turn 33) absolutely love-loves your videos exposing fake baking/cooking/crafts videos. She loves them so much that she is able to spot the dishonest ones. Iâm proud that sheâs started reporting them to CZcams. Awww. This was fun seeing your son help out. If anyone is still looking for a hack, I JUST watched another video from the Sugar Geek channel where she demonstrates the way to use her chocolate skull mold that she designed especially for a bust cake. The same premise as this but very simple to use and accurate. I haven't looked on the website yet but the video is more recent than this one so it might be a simpler and cost effective fix đ
Just realized that Iâve been watching you for 5 YEARS! Thatâs so crazy when I think about it, especially considering Iâm only 15. I used to stay up wayy past my bedtime on Thursday nights, waiting for that Friday upload because your videos never failed to make my day.
