I use a lot of AliExpress bike parts in my workshop, things like cable ferrules, disc rotors, pads, most parts are almost indistinguishable from what i get for my wholesaleer but at a cheaper cost, and so far it is good value for the quality
Instead of the ultrasport 3, try grandsport race. Only a few dollars more expensive but still quite cheap, you can get the unboxed ones for 38$ a pair. Faster than ultra sport but still durable, used 25mm grandsport race for about 7k kms. It's a great everyday pair, while still being lighter and faster than the ultra sport 3
I've been using the ultrasport tires from Aliexpress too. Around 300km in, a bit of bike trail and main road riding, no issues so far. My gripe with Aliexpress however is that sometimes the items can't be shipped to my address (Toronto), but others at a slightly higher price/ different combination with other items in the cart can be shipped. Weird.
Got the Ultrasports too. Really nice. The Ridenow TPU tubes are alright. The supplied patches have failed me twice. They hold air at home but riding seems to loosen the patches.
Becarefull with cycling items from Aliexpress. I bought a suspension seatpost in april 2024. In august, after only four month, the seatpost tube had a complete breakdown. Garanty was only 15 days.
@@henrychungfitness Well, I tried the Bryton, had not great results. A lot of false alerts for vehicles that weren't there. But it never missed an alert. I ended up getting the Garmin Varia and super happy with it. I've got the older model without the light too and its just as great.
@@henrychungfitness I'm using a very cheap Camaroca W100 radar from Ali for ~2 months. Seems to work well and never missed any car so far. Has a bit lower spec on detectable speeds than competition, hence can sometimes miss fast riding motorcycles (but you can hear them if they ride that fast), but to be honest, it does what it advertises very well. It does connect with Wahoo and presents all info correctly, additionally it has its own beep when it detects something and another one when the car gets closer. Keeps the rear light off until it detects a vehicle and the light is very bright and visible from far away. Unfortunately it does not accept remote control from Wahoo so pressing "Toggle" to switch modes from Wahoo screen does nothing, you have to use a button on the radar itself. There are more modes but I don't really use them because I never remember which does what and voice prompts are not very clear to understand. Mounting system utilizes GoPro mount and tripod screw mount and can be adapted to Garmin's radar mount which is very convenient. Not perfect radar, but good enough to verify whether we want such gadget or not and for the price I'm keeping it and use it all the time.
How's the durability between the old version and the new version ridenow tpu? Has there a significant improvement given the fact that they changed the valve to alloy from plastic, thanks!
can someone explain the legitimacy of the tires; why is reddit saying they’re fake but then i also found an article saying low end continentals are already produced in china anyways
@@kareemalmond they seem legit enough. Not sure how you can make fake tires as good as these. In my opinion one of the best budget tires on Ali that I’ve been using for the past few years and have thousands of km
Years ago i emailed continental regarding those white label tyres. They told me that white labeled tyres are supposed to be used for built bikes by bike manufacturers. And orange labeled tyres are aftermarket tyres we buy at our local bike shops.
I use a ton of bike parts and bike/diy tools. No way I could've offered to learn all the stuff I have if I had to shell out premium $$$ for just a hobby.
What. A. Nonsense. Comment. 🎉 I buy all kind of parts from aliexpress like pads, rotors, cleats, saddles, handlebars, chains or cassettes. Also tools. Not one single part failed in about ten years. Of course I only buy parts that have a high ratings or good reviews. You don't seem to understand that many brands produce in China so quality is the same for sure. But if you wanna pay about 60€ for one rotor, go for it. I pay about 6€ for same weight, same performance (tested)...

I wish this tyre came in 30mm or 32mm without the wire bead!
Me too. Been using the wire bead version with no issues but they are heavier. Mount easily enough though.
Got the Ultrasports too. Really nice.

Thanks for watching! It’s too bad the TPU patches failed. I’ve never patched the new ones yet and fingers crossed I won’t have to
Nice Video Mate!!!!!!! When are you going to review the Wheeltop eDs group to find out how it has worked?
@@andresnunezcarvallo8404 thank you!! I’ve done a review already on the Wheeltop groupset. Check it out on my CZcams channel 👍 still working well
I love the wheeltop EDS TX group. It is quite the hassle to set up (IMO) but once it’s set, it stays. Worth every cent!

What brand or store was the seatpost from? For the most part the cycling parts that I’ve bought have been good quality and well-reviewed.
