Iphone 15 plus shockingly good. Almost 4 weeks now, amazing performance, great battery life. Camera works just wow. I upgraded from iphone11
I have iphone XR , i am not sure if i should upgrade to 15 plus. I am worried about the USB-C 2.0 instead of 3.0 and 60 hz refresh rate. My XR has alot of issues though, can you suggest?
@@manindersinghbhatia3643Why are you worried? Your XR has 60 Hz and Lightning which has the same Speed as USB 2.0 so no difference on this one. The 15+ has the Pro Max Display but without ProMotion or AOD.
I upgraded from an 11 pro max couple days ago. So far I love this phone. Can’t wait to try out the camera!

The 15 Plus is absolutely the most bang for the buck this year! Aside from gaining all those former Pro features, that battery life is shockingly good.

15 Plus has USB-C, it’s way lighter, has 48MP and better minimum focusing distance, way better battery and speakers… and beautiful finishes and cheaper repair, to name just a few improvements. And it has way less bugs and issues, which some people seem to forget.

wasn't using that phone's feature to its fullest and decided to hand it off to someone that would (My Sister) and actually go the 15 Plus, don't regret it at all.
Don't get me wrong loved the pro, but felt it was being wasted, Plus has everything I need, Bigger Screen ( I'm 61 this year and so my eyesight isn't as good
as it could be) and as you said Apple packed in so much on this phone in comparison to last years phone, for us who just want a non pro phone this is really
a no brainer.

I bought a 15+1st time that I did not buy the Max I saved a lot of money and I love this phone and don’t give a crap about the Max, battery life is amazing. Screen is amazing. Speakers are amazing USB-C awesome and dynamic island. Great phone.

Just a brilliant device all in all for us who have tried it for some time now. I knew that iPhone 16 would receive 60Hz as well, thanks to Ross Young’s early predictions so kinda knew that this was the perfect year to invest in a Plus model.
I’ve had a few iPhones through the years so I’ve enjoyed the IOS experience. Last year I got the 14 Plus even though everyone bagged on it it was the best battery life on any smartphone that I’ve had. So this year I saw what the 15 Plus had to offer and so I got it. I’ve had it for 2 weeks now and it’s way better than the 14 Plus. The battery life is just as great I’m having a blast with this iPhone this year.

Easily one of the best phones right now. It should cost at least as much as iPhone 15 Pro if I’m being honest; and that is with 60Hz refresh rate in mind.

I have the basic iphone 12 and I've been wanting to upgrade, I thought about the 14 pro for the longest time but maybe 15 plus is the way to go although I'd like the few extra camera details.
The only missing feature of 15 plus is 120 hertz display

I bought a 256 gigs silver iPhone X before they split their iPhone line up into Regular and Pros. In a sense what I’d been using was a predecessors of the Pro devices with the stainless steel railings on the side. So I’ve always considered upgrading to a Pro iPhone whenever that time may be, but this year since they dropped support for iOS 17 for the X and combined with the fact that my device suffered water damage and the replacement display is wonky and Face ID is not working, I think I gotta upgrade. I’m from India and here the 15 Plus 256 GB is retailing for Rs. 100,000 as compared to Rs. 160,000 for the Pro Max with worse battery performance. Plus this year’s upgrade to the 48 MP camera, the Dynamic Island, basically the same display with same peak brightness of 2000 nits sounds too good to overlook. I’m soon gonna switch to the 15 Plus.
The X is a Pro and the 8 is a regular one.
Is there any heating issue
Seems like a solid option for someone like me who’s never owned a 6.7” iPhone before. My main concerns (when comparing to the iPhone 13) are the pocket-ability & one handed grip/use.
That’s the only thing holding me back (also have a 13). Did you make the move and how have you like it ?

I just made the switch coming from a 13 yesterday & i love it it fits in my pocket find and if you have decently sized hands its fine imo
@@elijaho6801if you have smaller hands it’ll annoy you. Had this and went for the pro because I couldnt text one hand comfortably or even view content comfortably with one hand. Ive always had the regular sized phones and thought the bigger screen etc would be nice, but in a real world use on a day to day basis I just couldnt do it. Even when I held it in store I thought I could do it, but once I used it daily I just couldnt do it and returned it for the smaller pro off of size alone
I never had an iphone and i think the 15 plus will be a great choice for me,for now i dont really need a powerfull smartpone,just something that takes nice photos,good battery life and has compatibility with all apps !

Currently looking to upgrade from an iPhone 11 (which I upgraded from a 6s prior.) I really enjoy my iPhone, and was stuck between the 14 plus and 15 plus, with battery being my biggest priority. I was leaning towards saving a little with the 14 plus, but after this video will likely snag the 15 plus instead. Great video and loved the breakdown, especially for people who don't upgrade their phones often (like myself haha.)

@@justcallmeiris Hey Iris! So far I’m enjoying it quite a bit! Battery life is night and day difference between my 11. I wasn’t huge on the size at first, but am used to it more now. I went with this over the 14 Plus, and am loving the camera difference. I think that and the battery were my biggest reason to upgrade. Although I don’t love the price I paid (no one does getting a new phone nowadays haha,) I’m glad I went with the 15 plus and its storage (512 GB.) And for context I’m the type of person who replaces their phone once every 4-5 years.

I got the 820 dollar deal Verizon was offering and the phone is 900 bucks. the phone will cost me over payment of 3 years (that’s the catch) 80 bucks. I’ve been with Verizon for 10 years now so this deal was a no brainer.
I gave my husband my 14 pro max and got the 15 plus. It is perfect for me. I like the new camera feature and I do not miss the weight of the 14 pro max. 🏋️♂️. This is a phone PLUS a camera instead of a camera with a phone 😅. Apple really needs to work on that camera lens design 😮.

You forgot about 48megapixel when using Heif Max, iPhone 15 come with 12, 24 & 48 Megapixel for main camera

Honestly one of the best devices I’ve ever used, it’s possibly even better than the iPhone 13 lineup… (which is hard to top!)

Thank you for the review. I wish Apple did the same with the iPhone Mini lineup instead of giving it up so quickly. If the iPhone 15 Mini exists or even better a iPhone 15 Pro Mini with aluminum material to keep the weight down while have better heat dissipation than the titanium Pro models I would pay the same price as the regular Pro or even Pro Max model just for the size! With the iOS 17.0.3 update. My iPhone 15 Pro (needed the camera features like LiDAR focus ability on Pro models for work purpose that no one talks about) that is set at 80% maximum charging level now have about 55% charge vs 25% charge and/or lower at the end of day.
Personally I think all the battery test videos needs a COMPLETALY redo to be fully accurately representing the true battery performance of the iPhone 15 line up today unless he units were tested with iOS 17.0.3 or later installed. My iPhone 15 Pro no longer heating up since iOS 17.0.3 and since "Heat = Use of High Amount of Energy" on any electronic or mechanical products, therefor; longer longevity & runtime unless.... Would it be possible that Apple did it purposely to sell a lot more Plus & Max models knowing how quickly the CZcams reviewers would flood CZcams with vast amount of battery tests within two weeks of receiving the new models and "Fix it up" later to produce a good amount of "Fake News" for the future viewers.... Noooo...they wouldn't.....Would they!!!???🤔🤔🤔(Not to say I had never worked in an advertising & marketing environment before.... Topless car wash will attract a lot of attention and business as long as people understand it means the top part of car will not be washed.....🤣🤣🤣)
I always felt the Mini was hindered by the Notch as it was comparatively larger on the Mini than the other phones. If Apple did a Mini with a smaller obstruction on the screen and proper Pro features like a x5 telephoto, I would much rather get that than any other phone (might have to wait a while for that though!). But I agree with you 100% - they should bring back the Mini.
@@parjau4554 maybe the rumour of iPhone 16 maybe larger than current models will reboot a "in-between" smaller than regular and larger than previous Mini size "Mini/Pro Mini" to compensate for the need of larger camera sensor and larger battery size... I hope.

Some posters on Reddit have said that the case fits but the cut outs around the camera and USBC port are slightly off.

@@cherie8005 i was switching for work purposes. All my app and data stuff is only on iOS. I will say my week so far had been good. And I have enjoyed the 15+ but I’m still getting use to it due to being and android user for my whole life
If I really need to take a raw picture, a third party app like halide should be enough right? That way I can edit photos like a pro even on a regular iPhone 15
Yeah but a bunch of these raw photos app have jumped into subscription models.
And pro raw is a little bit different from regular raw. It’s stacked raw.
The iPhone 14 Plus in blue with 512 GB only cost me new 999 € after taxes. One year earlier on its release it cost 1.539 € … and was to expensive if you could get an 13 Pro Max with 1 TB for the same price. Waiting could save you real money!
Good video, but important upgrade you missed is addition of dynamic island, which makes the front virtually indistinguishable from pro models and adds new software capabilities

I love my 15 plus but now I need to replace it because I have a big crack on the phone and a piece of the back camera came out 😭
I have did a speed test side by side in front of my router. 13Pro Max And 15plus. My 13 pro max had almost 180mbps faster speeds then the new iPhone 15 plus. Unfortunately. I’ll have to send this beautiful 13 pro max phone back in and have my daily phone as the 15 plus.
On iphone 15 plus here. Last charged to 100% at 6:48am and I am watching this video at 10:26pm on the same day with 46% battery left and havent plugged it in since. And went through a full working day inclusive of video calls and lots of messaging. Amazing performance 🫡

Last week made the switch from 12 Pro Max to 15 Plus… So far so good… Lack of 120 Hz is a bummer, but I didn’t feel the lack of it, cuz it’s on par with 120 Hz on Android… My main phone is a Galaxy S23+, the 15 Plus is a secondary device…
Spending more on the 15 Pro or Pro Max doesn’t feel worth for me for the extra camera features and less durability… Unless you’re more into smartphone photography & videography, then only consider the Pro iPhones… That’s why I bought an S23+ rather than the Ultra, missing the extra zoom cameras & the S Pen… The S Pen, usage depends on your usage scenario…

I actually don’t mind the transfer speed of the USB-C port on my 15 Plus, even though I mainly use it for transferring things as well, and I mostly use the MagSafe for charging.

I tried out the 15 pro max, and swapped it out for the 15 plus and have no regrets. I couldn’t tell the difference in performance plus I ended up with a few dollars back in my pockets.
The only thing that's stopping me buying this compared to the 15 pro is the refresh rate. Is the 15pro more "future proof " because of the refresh rate

I downgraded from 14PM and I'm more than satisfied. Felt like the 14 PM is a waste of Money, no Bang for the Buck. Just a huge Brick and expensive because of Crap like 120Hz and AOD.
I tend to drop to 60hz anyway to conserve battery as much as possible so not a deal breaker for me either

Could you guys test the capability of the usb-c ports 15 pro vs 15/15 Plus? I would like to know what load the ports are capable of, for example on Lightning iPhones I always get "this device cannot be used with this phone" maybe bc it draws to much power. So what can the15er iPhones handle on usb-c load and what is too much. For example I would like to use a simple usb-c BT 5.3 Stick (BT-W5, with apt-X adaptive codec which iPhone natively didn't support) from creative, which needs next to nothing on current: not possible on lightning with usb-adapter. Can I use these on the 15er iPhones Plus or do it needs to be connected to external power? Thanks!
I hate the dynamic island that gets away slighty when watching videos.I prefer the notch better than dynamic island. Who needs it??? I borrow my parents iphone 8 plus twice and need to upgrade to new iphone.
