  • Idi Amin Dada, a member of the small Kakwa ethnic group of northwestern Uganda, a man with a little formal education seized power in a military coup on January 25, 1971 after coming into conflict with the then country’s president, Milton Obote. What followed is a story that have many angles, few believing he was a good president while majority believing he was a dictator, a Butcher of Uganda for his brutality, and it is believed more than 300,000 people were killed and countless others tortured during his presidency.
On the other side, Idi Amin was a philosopher with a great sense of humor. Let’s take a look of top 10 interesting and hilarious moments.

Even the referee example is on point but it obviously flew over the head of our host...let me transliterate...when the game is rigged ( and the ref is biased) your best option is an outright win preferably by knock out... Africa needed then as it does now a continent wide approach to turn the world upside down...that is...be the first to benefit from her resources and wealth.

You are right! How ever you should also consider the other part of the story. Currently, those that connived to overthrow him are the ones in power doing exactly what they allegedly say he was doing. We now live in a country where our citizenship expires even if you are a native, people are being evicted from their land, unwarranted detention with out trial, stealing from poor by government officials using armed security organs, discrimination and tribalism at any post of civil service, killing native Ugandans, torture in safe houses, prisons and Police cells, . Just to mention but a few. Yes.. I agree with you that Amin was murderous. But you need to understand why he did so. Almost all the people that he killed was the current regime's doing! These people were jealous and wanted to take his position. They rebelled against the government hence commiting treason and they had to be dealt with. But look at the situation now, The wealth of the whole country now belongs to a few individuals All their policies have crumbled because of corruption. Unless you are part of those oppressing Ugandans, you can't say such about Amin. All that he killed were guilty of their crimes! And others were killed by the current regime in his name. You wait for your regime to go,.. You will be exposed. I rest my case.

If he was able to rule his country for nine years and be welcomed at the UN headquarters in New York with applause and standing ovations means he was well educated.
why the media made him famous and continue talking About him even after his death?
    Above all is,
Why the British army trained him to be an officer in their rank?

Well! In ln life, there are certain roles and responsibilities that genders need to share and divide amongst themselves. It is not the question of which gender looks after the house chores and which gender goes to office and works. At the end of the day, a family is made up of both the husband, wife and children. The number of children also matters. If a woman / wife is able to manage both working outside and house hold chores it is fine. The other option is to clearly divide the roles and responsibilities between the husband and wife in order to balance the family.
In balancing, there are certain trade off's which cannot be avoided, some compromises, some sacrifices.

Yes home, she should teach the children and queen of the house and she should be a boss and to work for no one but building a happy family.

@@justherelisteningin775 he said both. You're the one not getting the point. Hotel duty is basically same to house duties. Did you here him say women should be ministers and presidents? Nooo. He said hotel management. And he is right. Because hotel management is simply house management at a larger scale. And that's why he begun by saying the duty of a woman is that of a housewife. And then extrapolated the housewife duties to hotel management because it is the same thing only at different scales
