Sir Jim Ratcliffe has set out plans for Manchester United to avoid huge costs for a small group of 'great players'.
Instead, the Red Devils' new co-owner wants the club to focus on bringing in the right people behind the scenes before turning to recruitment. Ratcliffe appointed Sir Dave Brailsford as his manager at Manchester.
United also added Omar Berrada as chief executive and the current Manchester City director will take up his role in the summer. To complete the initial effort, Dan Ashworth is moving closer to taking over as sporting director.
