Perhaps the same thing could happen for Tokyo Ghoul. A remake will come, but not right now. Probably a decade from now.

Man the first season of Tokyo ghoul got me HOOKED years ago… I absolutely loved it. Beginning of 2nd season was okay…. Halfway through 2nd season and I was like yeah okay.. something isn’t right.. 3rd season was so bad imo… so rushed so forced (I’ve never read the manga, or any manga for that matter) but even I knew it was rushed so hard lol. So sad cause this could’ve been a top tier anime if they stretched it to 5 seasons maybe, and just actually worked harder.

They probably didnt announce it cuz of bleach. Theyre too busy working on it so thats why. When bleach is finished maybe there will be an announcement (dont get your hopes up)

They've been saying they're planning on making a studio specifically made for bleach and to work on that or atleast a section of staff because it's doing so well. And they plan on doing more stuff with bleach level animation but I doubt TG will be one of those things unless Ishida Sui says otherwise

Right? Like, people still care about Tokyo ghoul? I thought the anime sucked. Like say what you want about the manga, I've never read it, but to me, the anime just felt like edginess for the sake of edginess with no real substance beyond that

But type into CZcams anything like manga better than anime and you'll get the gist that Tokyo Ghoul could have 'Ghouled' harder.
The anime in its entirety is missing so much it hurts to know.
Re anime is disrespectful in some instances, and its hard not to overlook just how soulless it is without context as to what is 'missing'.
