So excited! Always gonna support anything to do with Kong 🔥😍 I’ve watched Skull Island a few times this week! Anyone else a huge fan of that one?
I TRULY BELIEVE that TOHO and the Japanese forced Legendary and Adam Wingard to NERF Skar King. When we saw Skar King 2 years ago he was huge (on the throne) and menacing. When you see the cool stuff he can do (lift a building and throw it 4 miles with his bone whip, filp over kong and choke kong out, his usage of a multitude of weapons, having an army, etc) its clear to see he was supposed to be the main villian without Shimo. Now hes small short and being beat up on TV spots. The reason they did this (im sure they threatened to reduce or remove Godzilla if scar king was too great of a titan) was because if Skar King was successful, America could make its own Kaiju movies revolving around the hollow earth and continue to make new characters like Tiamat, Behemoth, Quetzalcoatl , loch ness monster and all the other non toho titans at the outposts. I believe the Japanese have SOME part in Shimo but no parts of Skar King. Thats why I believe they gave Kong the BEAST glove instead of giving him true natural electrical powers from the storm. The Japanese dont want an independent American Monsterverse
