  • Firing a Panzerfaust 60
    Used early 1944. - It had a much more practical range of 60 m (66 yd), although with a muzzle velocity of only 45 m (148 ft) per second it would take 1.3 seconds for the warhead to reach a tank at that range. To achieve the higher velocity, the tube diameter was increased to 5 cm (2.0 in) and 134 g (4.7 oz) of propellant used while being a total length of 104 cm (41 in). It also had an improved flip-up rear sight and trigger mechanism. The weapon now weighed 6.1 kg (13 lb). It could defeat 200 mm (7.9 in) of armour.

      Nitpick, the Panzerfaust could be, and often was, reloaded. The tubes could last for about 10 shots IIRC.
      Simply place a new trigger charge and propellant, and put in a new fin and warhead assembly.

    G'day,
    Yay Team !
    Question...;
    What's the functional definition of "Decadence..." ?
    Answer...;
    Mounting an opposed Amphibious Invasion of Occupied Europe, the better to capture a German Butter-Churn - enabling the manufacture of Ice-Cream on the Battlefield with which to feed the Troops ; by using a Willys' Jeep, jacked-up and wearing-out the Sidewall of one back tyre - transmitting the output of a 4-Cylinder Internal Combustion Engine, all to achieve what a Milkmaid could've done, 1-handed, in the same time, with the same Churn...
    That's "Progress..." for ye ;
    It must be
    Manifest
    Destiny ?
    Thanks to, "The Greatest Generation", who were born in time to participate in The Great War Of Two ...; we all are now SO deeply enjoying the efffects of the Anthropogenic Greenhouse Gasses which they released in such a Cavalier fashion (behaving like a bunch of fast-moving Occupation Troops invading a Foreign land, reckless of whatever they take, upset, break or destroy...), that soon the entire Global Village is about to go down in Food Riots - as Industrial Broadacre AggroKulture fails in the face of increasingly intense & increasingly frequent Extreme Weather Events - brought to us by Global Warming.
    Burning Fossil Fuel to make Ice-Cream, in Winter...; is the type of reckless selfish behaviour which one would expect from a bunch of Lunatics.
    Such are the Fortunes of Waauuugh (!), apparently.
    Take it easy...
    Have a good one,
    ;-p
    Ciao !
