The most pleasant signing of free agency. Tatar will make Mercer better, and generally he makes his teamates better. He's basically the opposite of Timo Meier: Tomas cares only about scoring more than the opponent, he's defensively responsible.
Love this guy, only cares about team success. Loved the way he, nico, and mercer played together. Looking forward to him getting back to how he played two years ago
Finally glad to see fitz correcting the biggest mistake of his career.. letting tatar walk to make room for holtz was the biggest reason for the devils disastrous last season. ... im not taking about scoring at all. Im talking about not having our goalies facing constant odd man rushes while alex was trying to sneak up ice before the puck actually left the zone ... tatar might not be the offense spark the team needs but this guy never took short cuts while playing along the boards and in the d zone..

Happy he’s back! Got a buddy whose first NHL jersey was a Tatar jersey back in 22-23 and we were bummed. Let’s goooo!
