What’s the Legend (2015) movie about?
From Academy Award winner Brian Helgeland (L.A. Confidential, Mystic River) comes the true story of the rise and fall of London’s most notorious gangsters, Reggie and Ron Kray, both portrayed by Tom Hardy in an amazing double performance. Reggie is suave, charming and volatile. Ronnie is his unstable twin brother. Using violence to get what they want, the siblings orchestrate robberies and murders while running nightclubs and protection rackets.
Legend is a classic crime thriller taking us into the secret history of the 1960s and the extraordinary events that secured the infamy of the Kray twins.

The main prison officer in this scene is a mate of mine and a top bloke. He said he had a great time filming this with Hardy.
Tell him, he is an awesome actor. He deserves praise.
Isn't he in primeval too?
He was in eastenders too lol
Did he mean it when he said he’d “shit bigger turds?”
Did he really beat him?
Love how the other prisoners can see through walls and see what reggie was doing
I guess it's implied these guards abuse the prisoners a lot. Either that or the prisoners start fights a lot. Maybe a mix of the two. So they hear a mention of Reggie and know what he's in for.
😂
In my experience, they just verbally abuse you nowadays. A LOT. @@kieranadamson3224
😂 often the flaps in the doors are up you do it yourself on slop out or they have holes in. But mostly you get to know sounds really well, keys, footfalls, landing noises. And a hiding sounds as you expect.
They can see through the looking holes in the doors? maybe
"Aint so tough now eh?" After he takes a beating from 5 guys and is still conscious. Then stands up in the cell and knocks out the guard with one swing after cuffing him.
And if you believe that, you'll believe anything.........Cinematic license.
He probably believes in Santa 🎅
er, yes, we saw the scene. But, thanks for describing it.

ENOUGOU! xD

The scene that always gets me is "The children will love me & they will darnce" - Ronnie.
I don't know why the guard was mocking Reggie for asking for water. Dehydration is no laughing matter folks!
Gotta keep them fluids up
The 🐷 station in Newcastle only gave me 3 cups of water a day I pressed the assistance button in the cell they kept turning it of pure animals and I walked away a free man not guilty but jst goes to show 🐷🐷🐷🐷
Just ask Eddie Hall 😂💪
Modest pelican would burn the whole place down for not giving a man water

Tom is incredible in this film, playing both twins, I loved him in this scene, he is such a legend
yeah, kinda puts the question: does the movie's title refer to the two maincharacters, or the man that plays them?
@@thegreenreaper6660 на сегодняшний день Том уже легенда ❤❤❤
Tom Hardy was incredible in this.
It's like watching two different actors. He really embodied each twin completely separately from the other. He's extremely talented.
The best scene of: "call an ambulance, call an ambulance... BUT NOT FOR ME!"
Gotta love the body shot KO on that guard at the beginning 😂
one of the best actors alive hands down
Apart from his 'Ronnie Kray' It sounds like a poor impression of Alan Partridge.
I thought they were both good.
@@uktruecrime one straight, one not... hmm...
When David Thewlis acknowledges the lackey repeating "Enugu", he steals the entire scene. Not an easy thing to do with a performance by Tom Hardy roaring in front of him.
One of my favorite actors. Ever since seven years in Tibet.
Mr Hardy's brilliant as the twins. The changes in characters, the different behaviours - wow!
Shite film.
It's funny this character of Tom Harry's was actually friends with Charlie Bronson, played also by Tom Hardy.
Tom Harry? Who's that then?
@@TheJovialBrit it's auto correct that's who
@Atheist trying to live by christian values well duh that to lol
Bronson said that the Cray twin's were the nicest people he ever met
I used to work for a bloke who was friends with Bronson, he used to go visit him some weekends. He said that the only reason he's still locked up is because of how he used to break prison rules, how often he kicked the shit out of prisoners and guards and basically he's not liked. The guys been locked up most of his life because he robbed a post office. I know one lad who tried to rob a post office as well and he got a suspended sentence and community service. Everything I've said here is completely true. The guy I worked for, his name is Mark Fish from Scunthorpe, you can Google pictures of him and Hardy together, I used to work on his market stall.
It always makes me laugh. Tom hardy sounds like he’s got a mouth full of marbles in this film
It's just another version of his Bane voice

Tom Hardy at his very best ... twice in fact.

Tom Hardy being funny 🤣🤣which African language is he referring to? Enugu😂🤣😂🤣
Enugu is a state in Nigeria
I thought it was very funny as well. Enugu doesn't mean Utopia, there is no such thing as 'the African word' and if you are looking for Utopia, it's not in enugu, I promise you that. Rough wether and geography
My favorite part of this movie is when the twins slap each other around in their bar after Reggie got out of jail. I laugh every time I see it.😅
You always get taken when you start to let your guard down
Oh my gosh Helen Keller is alivee!!???
Such a great movie.
Enugu
Love how the gaurd at 7 seconds gets 1 air-hit to the stomach and is knocked out cold
Wow the guard at 0:06 got knocked out with only one punch from Reggie.
I don't doubt it tbh, both brothers are boxers irl
@OILΔR No: he's an 18th-century Austrian composer. So, you see, people DO come back from the dead, don't they?
It's a movie
Both brothers were incredibly strong and from accounts they hit very hard. Plus they were boxers so doubt they had the strength and power to ko someone with just 1 punch

Nothing like using 4 guys to help you beat the shit out of someone and then saying “you’re not so tough.”
Love the music in this film
I love how that one prison guard got knocked out from a punch to the belly
1:29 I guess we're not going to question how he knocked him out with an overhead blow through the bars?😂😂😂
How dare you ?! ... :D
Because he’s Reggie fucking Kray
He grabbed his cosh after he handcuffed him.
Look how much open space is betwen barrs you can put brick and there will still be space he knock him with bat over his head thrue that big open space betwen barrs over his forhead probably you can see it clearly

"Best Kray movie ever made". What, out of the TWO that have been made, this is the best?....
@@christopherdean1326 i seem to remember two kray movies on premium cable at the same time in the mid-1980s; one was kind of higher-concept and highlighted the brothers' sexuality and violence, the other was drier & gritty, told more in a docudrama style
These were thugs, murders, extortionist.
They were scum they deserved more than a beating
That’s the thing though, young’n’s watch this and think it’s shit to aspire to. And the movie does everything to prop them up just because they’re the main character.

What an actor!!!
Wow! A true story! I want to see this!
Tom Hardy como siempre actúa muy bien 👍 en todos sus personajes muy buena actuación 🎭 👌 👏 👍😊😊💪💪ok

Holy cow! Has he ever been on TV to share what he saw and heard?
Yer arse
A gangster in postwar Britain would probably drive a Jag or Rolls-Royce rather than a Mercedes.
Jensen interceptor would be my first guess..
As IF the other prisoners can see anything behind a SOLID CLOSED DOOR yet they all responded instantly like were watching it on a TV…
He shoulda won an Oscar for this
Оскар это премия американской киноакадемии. А фильм Легенда британский.

Obviously this is exactly what happened in real life.
Great movie
I grew up in the 50s and 60s and I remember the Kray twins, they were vicious dire people.
2:26 the enugu scene is too funny
Im pretty sure the guard would start screaming before being hit
The real guy wouldn't have put up any resistance when going for a stay in ol' ringpeice hotel.

This exact thing happened to me when I was in the clink. After I smashed the guard with his own night stick, the whole prison respected me. Even the guards tipped their hats to me whenever they saw me. It turns out the prison guard I smacked was a bully. I was the king of that prison for the time I was there.
One of the coldest scene in the movie
Never seen someone get knocked unconscious from a body shot. Brilliant choreography
You've never heard of the liver shot in boxing I take it.
