I’d love an Ocarina remake, but I’d rather they save that for Switch 2 so it can look prettier and run better.
I agree. I feel that Ocarina and Twilight Princess should be saved for new console release to show off the better graphics. Windwaker would make more sense to release for the current Switch since it has cartoon style graphics and Switch 2 won't necessarily give it as big of a boost (if any).

This whole idea of games not running well on Switch because of a lack of power, needs to stop. Pokémon runs like crap on Switch, because Gamefreak are not talented developers, they never have been. They struggled back in Gen 2, and they don’t do 3D open world well.
Ocarina Remake would easily run amazing on Switch. Just look at Prime Remastered.
My complaint about OoT is at this point just wait for the 30th anniversary. You have a few years of switch 2 experience and you can make it absolutely perfect. The only reason I can see them releasing it now is so they can do something crazy for the anniversary and do some sort of "sequel' to OoT +MM. It's post OoT but something happens after Zelda gets kidnapped and everything changes within the timeline and you have to go do something in termina in order to go back into OoT Hyrule. Maybe going back in time over and over screwed up the OoT time line somehow
@@garvensman I’m sorry bro, but the switch’s low power has resulted in short comings for both first and third party. BOTW and TOTK have frame drops, loads of third party ports run like ass, etc.
Wouldn’t you want an Ocarina remake to look and run as BEST as possible?? That’s why it’d be better for it to be on a new console, and not the current one which is like MAYBE Xbox 360 level.
And do not bring up Prime Remastered. That is just a port of a GameCube game with slightly better models, of COURSE that’s gonna run good on switch, it’s an over ten year old game.
An Ocarina remake would be a REMAKE. From the ground up. A NEW game.

A Mario party reboot would be cool
I’m holding-out for a Kid Icarus: Uprising release for Switch! Hopefully with a controller-only mode, since I know some folks complained about the 3DS touch controls.
With Kid Icarus it was not even the touch controls. It was the entire control scheme and how you needed to hold your hands in a very specific way to even play the game correctly and it really hurt your hands. I know what I'm talking about. I played it. I even beat the game. My poor hands. If they port kid icarus I really hope they fix the controls so your hands don't get cramps form the way your are supposed to hold the console. My poor, poor hands. The game was great in all other aspects, but the controls are just terrible.
@@Nikita_Akashya I kept putting-off playing it because of stories similar to yours 😭. They do pretty well with responding to feedback and making quality of life changes, so hopefully Kid Icarus escapes the 3DS & control scheme island it’s currently stuck on. Like you said, I’ve heard it’s an amazing game and probably Sakurai’s best.

My five games I would predict will be at the Nintendo Direct are Metroid Prime 2 and 3, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, and a game with Zelda with starring as the protagonist.

My unrealistic wishlist:
1. Kid Icarus Uprising Remastered
2. A new Wario Land game.
3. DLC for Kirby and The Forgotten Land.
4. An Expansion or Professional edition of DQM3.
5. A master rank expansion for Monster Hunter Stories 2.
6. Guilty Gear Xrd Rev2 for Nintendo Switch.
7. New info about the new Digimon Story game (If only...)
Most of these are higly unlikely, but let me cope.
What I think is likely to happen is we will see Luigi's Mansion 2 either in a sizzle reel or focused on for a minute or two, NSO announcements either as a shadow drop or a road map for the next few months.
Some less likely predictions are TP/WW HD are ported to the Switch, some news on the Zelda movie, maybe a closer look at Legends Z-A.
Pie in the sky hopes are Xenoblade X on Switch, a new Warriors game (hopefully a Xenoblade one), Prime 2 Remastered, Prime 4.
My hope is we finally see MP4. While I think it’s a cross-gen game, it’s still time to see it.
Other than that, I don’t have a specific list. I’m so happy with the Switch that anything they show in the Direct is gravy.

The OOT remake mentioning made me remember something that could be another hint towards that remake. In the last Warioware game, there was an OOT theme minigame where you're a Cuckoo & Young Link is chasing you, but iirc, the models in that minigame looked more modern than the 3DS version of OOT.
Either way, I still think there's going to be some major Zelda news at this direct. Especially after seeing how much new Zelda merch is also coming later in the year like that $200 Master Sword replica.
My daughter and I want the 3DS Zelda games updated for the Switch. Her favorite game is A Link Between Worlds.

There were some moments when I was dissatisfied with Nintendo past years but overall looking back at it I feel the same, this was the best Nintendo generation.

I don't think we're getting GameCube on NSO unfortunately. They realized they can sell their games at full price like paper Mario TTYD and there's really not an excessive amount of games that already don't have a remake that would make sense to make NSO cube a thing. There's 4 major things that aren't rumored are the 2 3d pokemon cube games, Fire Emblem Path of Radiance, and I can see them re-releasing smash bros melee.

Man, I’m really hoping we get something DK this direct. Preferably a 3D adventure that plays like DK64 is what I’d want to see. lol I was hoping I’d see him discussed in this vid as a realistic prediction as it’s been 30 years since OG DKC, 25 since DK64, and now 10 years since Tropical Freeze. I have to say it surprises he’s not even in the hype is real section discomforts me. I guess I just have to ask is it simply that unrealistic to expect him and I’m being naive lol? Either which way, I’ll keep some hope that we will get that 3D DK adventure this direct, even if it is teased for 2025 release. I just hope on top of that, they’ll shadow drop DK64 to NSO on the day of the direct if not before to satisfy me till that new adventure releases.

I do not think that this is the last big Nintendo direct, but the next to last. So I am tempering predictions a little: Metroid Prime 2 + 3 remasters, Super Mario Party 2, top-down Oracle style Zelda game (starring Zelda), F-Zero GX remastered, Mario and Sonic Olympics 2024, They will hold the other Zeldas until Fall reveal. Additionally: DK 64 and Diddy Kong Racing will finally be brought to NSO.

1. Boomerang Fu: Just Desserts DLC trailer (even though it already exists).

3, 4, 5, and 6. Garten of Banban I-IV, as they are going to be on the switch soon.
Fire Emblem Genealogy of the Holy War remake, Fantasian comsole release, new 2D Zelda, Metroid Prime 2, Legends ZA gameplay.

Metroid Prime 2, Zelda (either WW or TP), Dragon Quest 3, HiFi Rush, FE4 remake. Not sure about the last two.
I wouldn't be surprised if Prime 3 is also shown, especially if it's bundled with 3, but as a separate game, I would expect it to be held for the fall. I feel like I've been trying to guess when Prime 4 will finally get something shown of it, and my brain has gone mush on this front. I think it's most likely a Switch 2 game at this point, so I doubt we'll see anything until Switch 2 is ready to be shown or teased.

I feel the same way. I grew up as a Nintendo fan but went over to my Xbox because that's where my friends went. Since middle school, I had no one personally who was nearly as excited with Nintendo products as me until I found CZcams channels like Nintendo Life and yours. My first time seeing a community like that, was at the switches launch at my local GameStop. I feel it when you say how this console did so much for you.

Honestly it's hard to guess accurately what we'll get from Nintendo in terms of first party at least for this direct. However what I would absolutely love is either a new Star fox game or a remaster. A remake of Kirby triple deluxe would be nice too. I'd also love for those zelda rumors to be true, and lastly Square releases either Final Fantasy 13 on Switch or brings over actual ports of Kingdom hearts to it at least the ones from the ps2 era.

I think the switch 2 will be teased at the end.
Nintendo said several times they was not going to announce something. Then they announce it.It probably won't happen but I want to throw that in just in case. Cause truthfully Nintendo always announces a year or so out.
I don't think it's gonna be a huge Nintendo direct like usual. Sure the switch has a huge user base.However Nintendo is famous for leaving a console in the dust when a new one drops.
With that said they will still want to capitalize on the switch this holiday season.
My predictions are
#1: F Zero GX remaster
#2: Star Fox of some sort
#3: a new Star tropics
#4: an earthbound announcement
#5: Zelda oracle or ages and seasons remakes.

Realistic:
1: a new 3D Mario. Nintendo's already made a new Zelda for switch, which makes 2 new 3d Zeldas for the switch, one at the beginning of the switch, and one nearing the release of the next console. I think we're nearing the time for a new 3D Mario, which they might make for both systems, similar to botw.
2: news on Metroid prime 4. Cause it's been how long?
3: more games for nso's emulaters. Cause I think it seems like a direct they'd do that in.
4: farming lol
Here's my hype is real list:
1:a tease of the new console's logo, or the console itself, via a silhouette at the end of the direct.
2: somehow pulling off a DS emulater for NSO. I mean, the switch does have a touch screen. Though it doesn't have a mic, and puzzles where you need to close the DS won't work either. Unless you count the emulator menu as closing the DS.
3: A brand new banjo+kazooie game with smash Bros. character design. Plus a nuts and bolts port.
4: a kingdom hearts 4 trailer with all the playable characters that are in smash Bros. ultimate. This one's got my hyped, but I do actually think square enix will either make a world for smash bros, or have a whole series of them in a row. Realistically it might just be one or two worlds, maybe three. The reason I think this is because in the Kingdom hearts missing-link trailer, a phrase was displayed: "Everything is connected". Now it could just specifically be talking about that game, but I think the scope is much wider. With Sora ending up in the same world as a character with the same name of a character from a in-universe video game, it may be possible he'll meet characters from other games. Plus they were talking about Sora being in a world of what they consider fiction.
It's just a theory I've had for a while, thought this would be a good time to bring it up again.
Personally my biggest hopes are the og resident evil 2 and 3 getting ports, final fantasy 13 trilogy hd remaster, legend of zelda twilight princess or wind waker hd remaster, a pokemon side game of some sort that isn't a cash grab mobile game, and a for them to do more with the retro collections like mario 3d all stars, secrets of mana, and the final fantasy pixel remaster bundles(ideally a fire emblem one).

Well if it’s a return to toon Link with a sequel to Spirit Tracks, then it’s not the end game of this game and I think that’s the point here for the original game and not for me to say anything else but that is a great idea and a good point of the original trilogy to me too if I am wrong and I’m just trying not too much of an expert in this case and not a fan at this time but it seems to me like the game was just too much to play to me and it seems like it would have to have a lot more of an impact to me and I’m just not a good fit to the game to be played in a lot more games and it seems that I think it could have been better to me being more like the game is just not the game but it’s just a lot more than I would have been a little more than that would have made sense

This is what am hoping to see but obviously it won't happen but a new donkey Kong game has to b there if not the direct is automatically a 0/10 for me
But on a website looks real it shows all showcases and it does say there is an nintendo direct in June but no date so there is gonna b one on June and I think it will b 12th of June and that's on a Wednesday and nintendo does them on Wednesday

Why would it be about time for a AAA Kirby game? They should have at least a 4 year leeway for that type of game. Now a new paintbrush Kirby or a fighter isn't out of the question.
