I am from Varanasi and if you don't try the most special breakfast food of Kachori-Sabzi-served with jalebi you will really miss out on a great experience. Sweet and savoury all in one. Also Thandai is a drink that originated in Varanasi but is now enjoyed pan India during holi, you should try that as well.

So if you want to taste, authentic melt in mouth Malaiyo along with Saffron Milk you have to go to narrow lane of old Banaras, specifically Chaukhamba or Thatheri Bazaar. ❤️❤️❤️

You should make it a point to visit one state at a time when in India and cover maximum cities along with the street food of that state. You will find the difference and also enjoy the same. My personal favourites are Jodhpur, Haridwar, Vrindavan, Varanasi and Kolkata.
