    I'm really looking forward to the video with the animation of the analysis of technical projects, mechanisms, details. This direction is insanely interesting.

    Thanks once more for the excellent free content - Love it! You're actually pointing out things that make the model feel more 'normal' to me on a whole. Keep up the excellent content!

    These design principle videos are very useful! Especially this smooth simple design. Alot of concepts are so fed with details that is very hard to watch, vonder why?
    Definetly make some more Ryuu! :)

    Here I am following the lessons a lot, but I have not yet mastered cutting and smoothing. What is holding me back from abbreviations? What do you advise me?

    How do you decide what's too busy and what's a good a amount of detail? Because some of these 3D artists I see on artstation make insanely detailed models.

      It's down to mileage and xp mate. Overtime you develop a feel of visual weight and balance of negative space. Watch my vid on this czcams.com/users/results?search_query=ryuu+visual+weight / we also have an amazing course that could help you with this www.blenderbros.com/rendering-university / Also, only because something is on AS, it doesnt mean it is good.

    I understand what you are driving at but for me it is missing a key element and that is form and function. I cannot create something that has no function and honestly what is the point of just creating something for the sake of it? If it has no practical purpose whoever is viewing it is going to lose interest in it. Plus creating something that has function will help when creating the details.

    • @PonteRyuurui
      @PonteRyuurui  Před rokem +10

      I disagree. Art has no function, or may not have one. That is by definition. Secondly, if you work on abstract shapes and are able to create a balanced model, then you can basically do anything else. The core idea behind this practice is to divorce functionality from the form on purpose in order to practice detailing balance in an abstract scenario.

      Pleasing the eye is also important. For many reasons.

      If you keep both feet outside of chaos 100% of the time… everyone will lose interest and no one will ever remember your name.. it is only in chaos that true brilliance is discovered accidentally :) -- I’m taking this way of thinking from the man him self, Bulgarov! Ryuu man… thank you so so much for introducing me to this man’s work… changed my life

      Concept design in Blender is not what you looking for, go for solidworks or Rhnio community.
