    • @shizukesajdm
      @shizukesajdm  Před 3 lety +1

      It depends what exhaust it is? If it’s made for the IS200/300 then you shouldn’t have any issues. The standard diameter is 2.25” but as long as the flanges match, you shouldn’t have any issues. Good luck! 👍🏻

And do you think it is necessary to have an angled adapter? EDIT: Having watched your follow up video installing the sports cat I see you used an adapter! Keep up the great content :)

    • @shizukesajdm
      @shizukesajdm  Před 2 lety +1

      As long as the main cat is present, you should be fine. If the main one is missing, like you seem to describe, it’s unlikely to pass emissions. They’ll also notice it’s missing if it’s a straight pipe. The pre cats on the exhaust manifold don’t have much of an effect on emissions. Most people guy them and keep the main cat.

If the back comes out on you in the wet when you’re not an experienced driver, you’re gonna have a bad time! Seriously though, IS200s are really bad on fuel too! I agree on shizukesa, I have an 04 is200 sports luxury as my first car and the bitch has to get refilled 80 bucks a week for a full tank. I would rather get the is300, the is200 is fun to thrash around especially in corners cause of its rwd, but again just get the is300 as a first car cause it has more power and is similar weight ratio to the 200
