Mary considered both Edward and Elizabeth to be bastards; additionally, she was a devout catholic, while her siblings were both protestant. It is historical fact that Mary held catholic mass against her brother's direct orders. Mary felt she was the only legitimate child of Henry VIII since she did not recognize the divorce from her mother. Further, it's known that she resented Elizabeth, since on Elizabeth's birth, she was declared a bastard and titled "Lady" Mary and forced to serve her younger sister, whom again she considered a bastard. There was more than enough drama in that family to all of them to completely detest each other. Not a lot of love loss.

Mary and Elizabeth had no idea that Edward had disinherited them until after his death, and he was always civil to them right up until the end, despite his occasional religious clashes with Mary. Great scene, but don't be so hateful, everybody! Edward was a book-burning, person-executing Protestant zealot as much as Mary was a Catholic one, but I don't believe such a scene ever played out. By all accounts Edward was very fond of his sisters. He didn't like Mary's radical Catholicism, but allowed her to practice because he loved her, and he had no problem whatsoever with Elizabeth.
He only disinherited them in his will, just before he died, not whilst he was healthy. He did this because he knew Mary would try to bring England back to the Catholic church, and, of course, he couldn't declare Mary illegitmate AND legalise Elizabeth.
As far as I'm aware, he never thought either of them traitors, and the only sore point between the siblings was Mary's Catholicism.

Actually he did have a gripe with Elizabeth not being as Protestant as he would have liked, but it was still a better relationship than with Mary. Despite what anyone thinks of Elizabeth, I think most can agree that her idea of religious tolerance was clearly the better idea compared to her siblings.

The only good thing about the 3 of them it's that they were actually care for one another. This scene didn't actually happen. Edward disinherited his sisters without them knowing it. They found out after he died. But I actually think he did it for religioun and also for his sister's protection. But the most unfortunate in all of this was the innocent Lady Jane.

Dudley WAS an unscrupulous user. He obviously disliked Mary for her Catholicism, but also Elizabeth because he saw her as the REAL obstacle to his own ambitions. To evangelicals like Edward and the Dudleys and the Greys, Elizabeth, a true Anglican, was not Protestant enough. There were many who also questioned that Henry was her father, given the reputation of her mother. But that was all hogwash, as Anne Boleyn never cheated on Henry, and of all the three children, Elizabeth acted and looked most like Henry.

@sammy_yesxsageminty Seeing as they've cancelled the 2nd series, here's a rundown on what happened. Edward had been raised by his uncles and tutors in the Protestant faith and was dedicated to it. However, his eldest sister Mary was devoted to the Catholic faith and under the terms of Henry VIII's will, if Edward was to die with no heir, the crown should pass to her and if she also died with no heir, it would then go to Elizabeth.
In 1553, he fell ill, most likely from consumption and this was fatal back then. He realised if Mary did succeed him, she would make England Catholic again and he couldn't abide that. However, he could not cut her out of the succession in favour of Elizabeth as both had previously been declared illegitimate. So he, with help from his council, wrote his will and said that the crown should pass to his first cousin Lady Jane Grey, Henry VIII's grand-niece. Strangely enough, she had just been married off to Lord Dudley's son Guildford, younger brother of Robert. Timed that nicely.
Edward died in July 1553 and suddenly Jane, much to her horror, was pronounced queen. She had no clue about any of this. Dudley sent men to capture Mary but she escaped and managed to rally an army before marching on London. She was joined by Elizabeth on the way. Opposition quickly melted away and Jane, Guildford and Dudley were imprisoned in the Tower of London. Jane was only queen for 9 days and Mary was then proclaimed queen.
Mary had Dudley executed in August 1553 but was inclined to spare Jane and Guildford though keep them imprisoned for life after a treason trial. However, a young noble Thomas Wyatt the younger had become fearful at the news of Mary's impending marriage to Phillip of Spain, thinking that it would lead to the persecution of Protestants. ⚠️ Spoiler Alert: It did. He led a rebellion which was quickly put down but it ended up implicating Jane and Elizabeth as the aim was to make sure a Protestant was the ruler of England. Parliament and the Spanish then convinced Mary to sentence both Jane and Guildford to death and they were beheaded in 1554. Elizabeth was spared as she was the heir to the throne at least until Mary had children of her own.
Mary tried to restore Catholicism to England and ended up burning over 300 people at the stake, earning the nickname Bloody Mary. However, she died childless in 1558 and Elizabeth became queen on her death.

Most of my lineage on both sides traces back to Europe, and none of them were mixed with white people at all. A great deal of them were expelled nobility too. I have the surnames and records to confirm this, and they were all black people. We lost our lands and titles for religious reasons and were expelled to the carribean and South America, while on my mother's side, we fled to West Africa. This is actually the case for MOST black Americans who are not mixed with white ancestry.
You all think Europe equals white or that black people only come from Africa because you are unaware and ill informed about my people's true history. You also think that we all got our very European last names from white slave masters, but my family records show that our surnames always belonged to US!
I point this out not to brag but to highlight the ignorance your unintentionally ironic sarcasm exudes. You will be very surprised, and embarrassed I'm sure, when more and more people begin to confirm this truth.
