I continue to be amazed at how she makes a few changes to one of her songs, and it amounts to having two songs, with both being jaw droppingly great.
First time I heard this song I thought the lyrics were a bit cliche and overly soppy. Seeing this immaculate version changes everything. This is distinctly uncomfortable. We are the audience, but what we are witnessing is the most intense declaration of sensual love from one person to another. It's so incredibly personal that I feel like a voyeur who has accidentally overheard something they should not have. It really is great art disguised as a romantic love song. I recommend watching it once to see how she's singing from behind her closed eyes, and then listen to it forever afterward in the headphones, and drift away as you imagine her singing it to YOU. So lovely!

Every voice is an instrument but her voice is 4 or 5 and all together they make for the most amazing enchanting heart stopping beautiful voice I have heard in my 78 years. What a gift we've been given

EIVØR is not such a big star that she will not play and sing (beautifully) at a brewery with a car parked on the set. Much respect to her.

Wow! I loved that. Does anyone know how you watch the whole concert? I recommend anyone who is unfamiliar with EIVØR to watch her concert “The Swing” at “The Old Theatre” Tórnshavn, Faroe Islands. It’s a stunningly good performance. Included is Surrender, played in the same manner but she is accompanied by her incredible backing band. Do yourself a favour! 🇦🇺
