  • Welcome to our latest adventure in Monterey! We explored a brand-new location to see if we could find some new and interesting creatures, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! We found a gorgeous flat worm, sea stars, a bunch or sea slugs (nudibranch), anemones and more!
Let us know in the comments if you enjoyed the video and what you'd like to see more of!
    Cheers,
    Madi

Amazing! Love the flatworm! I've found diversity and quantity diminishing around here, in Australia, which is a worry. I hope some conservation efforts are happening around your beautiful area!

I'm happy to get full length videos from you! do you have any thoughts whats the "best" time of year is?(if there is a best) And I would love to see you travel to other places and go tide pooling!

There are good low tides year round! The one difference I will say is when the low tides are - on the west coast many of the low tides throughout winter are at night - which can be fun too if you have a headlamp! It's always interesting to see how the animals you find change season to season :)
