Extremely useful in the US and relevant in the era of widespread use of SGL1 inhibitors like ozempic, monjaro, and trulicity for weight loss. All which cause delayed gastric emptying and full stomachs in some cases after a full >8 hours of fasting

It would be instructive to also show live ultrasound images of a stomach containing liquid, and one full of solid contents just after a meal and again several hours later. That's because at 1:15, it seems like there's gastric intraluminal contents. I'll just have to ultrasound my own stomach during each of these test conditions. I'm on call this weekend, can do it between cases.

Yes Dr. H. for selected cases and urgency cases, some of us do it as a routine. It's very helpfull, much more of it ts a posible dificult arway, to plan an awake tecnique or fast secuense if it's the case. Excelent material, and didactic. Easy to digest.... very important. Thanks.
