Yeah that wasn't the Grand Couloir, you needed to carry on along the traverse to the end, then it open up into a couloir much bigger. Funny thing is that part you did would generally be harder to do but judging from how easy the flat traverse was when you was there looks like you had amazing conditions.
I may be wrong, but it was the third chute from the tram over, ( I also did the chute under the tram). According to the map at the top of the run the "Grand Couloir" is the third chute over. You went by the wrong way. I think it was not the Grand Couloir

Where did you go. Maybe it was the sign from the top of the run that shut him up.
