    Oh those grounds look so much more uniform than the mr coffee BLADE grinder. They seem to be similar in size; i dont see a big difference between the settings on the mr coffee burr grinder. But will work for drip coffee, I may get the burr grinder. Thanks for showing us the grounds.

    I have the “old version”. I’m on my 2nd one. First one lasted maybe 3 years. Been using this current one for maybe less than a year.
    I’m curious - have you used the old version?
    The reason that I ask is that, frequently, companies make updates to their products and present the design changes as improvements, when the changes made turn out to actually be steps backwards in terms of quality, etc.
    So, naturally, I’m wondering if this new design actually produces better ground coffee than the old version. Just because it’s a different design doesn’t guarantee more consistent coffee grounds. But it might…
    I paid $35 for my current “old version”. Hard to get picky at that price. It probably produces more fines than a connoisseur would prefer, but hey, it produces a pretty good grind for my use (BUNN or pour-over…no espresso).
    Looking at the grind it produced - looks pretty good and consistent. Doesn’t look like too much dust.
    I wouldn’t mind spending a bit more for a grinder and keeping this current one as a backup if I knew that I’d get better coffee grounds for that price increase.
    I do always grind my beans immediately before brewing, and I always drink my coffee black, so I am sensitive to taste.
    By the way - that DD Original is one of my go-to grocery store coffees, along with Eight O Clock Coffee 100% Colombian. Both of those brands tend to do a pretty good job getting the beans to the store while they’re pretty fresh.
    Thoughts?

      This is about the same as the old one I love my OXO grinder for the fact that it has a stainless steel container that you pour the ground coffee out of. czcams.com/video/u_y0cvwei8o/video.html

    What do you do with all your other coffee makers or grinders do you use all of them or store them which ones do you use the most

    • @JustADad
      @JustADad  Před 2 lety +2

      Great Question. right now I store them and bring them out and use them every so often. I want to start way that I can give them away to my viewers, I am working on how to do that, but just not sure how. Any thoughts?

    The fine grind doesn't look very fine. I have the same one, and it's disappointing that that is considered "fine grind."
