You can literally see the "dad playing with his kid" human like behavior. Absolutely fascinating.
My father never played with me. This right there is a DAD.
Looks big mean and intimidating, but is a gentle teddy bear with his babies.

What a lovely Silverback Shabani is, you can really tell how much he enjoys the interaction with his son, he can hardly keep his hands off him, this isn't always the norm and some Silverback dads can be less approachable but there is an amazing bond between these two, he's a very lucky boy to have such a playful and loving dad.
No hunting or guarding lessons. Nothing but recess and no nagging about spoiling the kid.

I noticed that too it could be caused by something in captivity. It's probably not supposed to look like that. We don't know or is it we don't care the long-term effects of captivity.

This Silverback is so playful and gentle. Watching the baby's hand in daddy's mouth and him play biting is so adorable. This Silverbacks eyes are very focused on the crowd.

Looking back at 2022, yes, the outside exhibit was pitiful back then, but the interactions between family members were at their best. Shabani was so funny and at his best back then.

X A you know most adult humans spend their waking hours at work or in school learning how to work at a job then after that are left to worry about money bills a mortgage and where the next meal will come from all things considered it could be worst
exactly! i know for many animals this kind of life sucks. For some gorillas too if they're not set up in a good way. but Shabani and his family have it pretty good and they all seem happy and well adjusted. It could be a lot worse.
Dad is playing with his son. Son is playing with his dad. You're sitting at your computer typing comments on CZcams. Who's bored really.
The only reason they have the chance to be bored is being provided with every life essential. They spend way more time chilling than in the wild.
One thing for certain is that the animals here never have to worry about starving or predators so at least they can be safe!

I love how gentle Shabani is with them his baby son. It’s funny how he bites down on his little toddler’s fingers every time he tries and shoves his paws in his mouth. Reminds me of a human baby as he/she tries to shove their little fingers in your mouth 😂

I wish I could play with a silverback like him! He’s so gentle, kind and playful!
I have a feeling that would end poorly. The 420 pound Silverback here is very gentile and docile but that's with his own offspring- not a human stranger. Would be a cool experience, but hes also only the first generation of non-wild ape in his bloodline. He can hurl a 200 pound log like it's a branch, I wouldn't test your luck lol. Would be cool, but probably not a great idea realistically.
he plays exactly the same til this day with Kiyo 😊 even tho now natures getting in the way as they grow older but Shabani still loves his baby boy dearly even tho hes growing into being his own silver back Shabani still plays with him exactly how he does in this moment ♥️🥹🦍

It seems the humans are the bored ones. And then they always say they only care for those poor poor animals.
Silverback had a long history of being just ferocious and gruesome this should disarm alot of those myths

@@livieandevie Haoko is his older brother. He has 4 babies with Momotaro’s mom. Haoko is even bigger than Shabani. His family has lots of videos too

If you could see these magnificent creatures in the wild they’re very peaceful how can we as people cage them without prejudice of their thoughts on wanting to be free. To me they are incarcerated. Look how he places his baby's hand in his mouth he avoids all the big teeth and gently gnawls on them with no obvious pain from his little one

They're bored. In the wild kids play with kids.
Becuase parents need down time from the survival stuff. Without that pressure they behave differently. Neither seemed bored to me although the dad seemed annoyed with the noise of the people.
