This is exactly the build I wanted to find. I didn’t want to sacrifice all summons as many other bone necro builds have you do. This will be the build I play on launch, thanks for the video!
It’s the same as all the other bone builds 😅 just about all necro builds have bone spear 🤦♂️
@@Eternal_Genin most other bone builds are built around sacrificing your summons to increase your overall power, at least from what I’ve seen.
@@kevincurrie5125 they all have like one skill difference but all none builds. I’m a bit sad that some of the other necro builds won’t be as competitive as none. Hopefully this will be addressed in the future.
@@Eternal_Genin I agree, and I don’t care about being as powerful as possible, as much as I care about having fun which is why I think this build is ideal for someone like me who wants to keep the summons up.
@@kevincurrie5125 I feel the same way I just wish bones builds wouldn’t make up 90% of the necro builds. I was hoping for more diversity. Also if you like summons drybear had a couple good summons builds too but again not as competitive but fun.

What armour is he using the op doesn’t display what armor these aspects go on… pretty misleading if you ask me.

This build is just AMAZING! It does INSANE damage even when i'm not done with it all yet! Its just insane how fast im leveling and demolishing Elites and Bosses with this! 10/10 Build you should definitely use it!

think its useful to note that lucky hit skills arent just a flat 10% etc to do the effect it only roles that chance if you make a lucky hit :)
Thanks for this guide/build! starting to put it together now. But question....'Aspect of Torment' isn't on my codex list. Various sites say it can be found in the Black Asylum dungeon but I just finished it and got nothing. Can't see any notice of it being removed. Is it only available in a higher tier maybe?
So I got kind of confused after the "Supernatural Bone Spear" what do I go for next after that because I noticed you said to come back and build "Imperfectly Balanced"?

my build is similar but a few differences, bone splinter with initiate upgrade, supernatural bone spear, hewed flesh, plagued corpse explosion, grim harvest, supreme blood wave. for skeletons I have reapers with perk 2, bone mage with perk 1, bone golem with perk one. I'm still tweaking my build but I pretty much spam bone spear and corpse explosion constantly and when I need a heal I use blood wave
when do you recommend putting the points into the skills? Do try to get the 3/3 right away on some or do i get others first?
Do you need to have the golum ability in your bar for the passive to work?

Trying different builds, but for the mid game I think I'm gonna come back to this one as it has been the most consistent for where I'm at in the game right now.
Ill be trying out this build on world tier 2.
I am using this build, so far so good, every dungeon or cellar finished. I switched to Necro after my Barb cant finish one of dungeons (casual player).
I think the calculator mixed acolyte bone splinter and initiate cause in game acolytes is the one thay gives you the 3 percent crit chance

I’m still using this build and I’m at level 70 … I personally think this is the most fun way to play necro instead of sacrificing minions for more bone spear damage

did they flip the bone splinters tree at the end? the acolytes version gives me the 4 second crit chaance
how do you have all of those abilities with only 6 slots? summons go away if you take them off your cast bar...

I play early access and confirm this is a very strong build, thought I started with blood skills for sustainability, now fully on this build
you still got that opinion? I feel completely useless as a bonesspear necro without teammates maybe my weapons are bad I barely deal any dmg

Yep, I am without golem, only with skeletons and slicing like a laser through mobs and bosses, very high crit damage build. But as guys said, important to manage the essence and blow up some corpses to have the bone spirit ready all the time.

Does anyone have a level by level list of what to take like some of RageGaming's other videos have?
I use reap, miasma corpse explosion, the slow curse, bone storm, bone spirit, and ice mages and reapers.
I have multiple legendary armors that give the ice mages a blizzard spell, heal for each enemies around me, attack speed for minions, attack damage for my minions, barrier when I damage elite enemies, and others I can’t remember.
The amount of damage is fucking crazy and with the ability to slow and freeze enemies it’s absolutely insane.
Glad to see the good Ol' bone spear build still exists. Good job on the build. 👍

Where do you get the aspects from?
Edit: Below information is wrong. Raise skeleton button raises both warriors and mages. I leave the post to expose my error so others may learn from my folly.
Necro is all about minions and corpse explosion, OR it's about bones.
We have 6 slots.
1) Bone splinters
2) Bone spear
3) Corpse explosion
4) Decrepify
5) Bone Storm
6) Raise warriors OR mages OR golem.
We need to sacrifice two minion sets. We can try to switch skills mid fight, but on console, that is not a fast process. Especially in the heat of battle.
We can go
1) Bone splinter
2) Bone spear
3) Corpse explosion
4) Bone storm
5) warriors
6) mages
And so on. It really feels like you go all in on minions or you leave them behind altogether. I'm not sure how to work this.

I'm new to diablo, and currently lv36. How come I don't have the skeleton armies. I did copy every points!
I played through level 1-51 using your suggestd build. It's a lot of fun and synergizes well. One question I have is that I don't seem to have the same ability points in total as you? I have a few items that put points in other skills does that negate my overal points? I followed the tree but I don't have enough for Ossified Essence (actually I'm 3 total points shy). Any ideas?

What’s everyone using for this? I am currently using 2 handed sythe but I’m thinking 1 hand + shield (+80% main hand damage) brings it to a level playing field with the sythe

started with lightning orb sorcerer build you have and then this one. i'm around lvl 30 on both now and i find the necro build more enjoyable bc you dont NEED specific gear to be effective. been playing sorcerer and necro/druid in all diablos and necros are better rounded to me.

What is the skill bar setup then. As I see it, there is one too many skills (golem, skelies, splinters,spear, explosion,!decrepify, and ultimate).

It does really leave little to the imagination the way this skill tree is set up... basically either you go bone spear build, or you go summoner build or whatever else there is.. Is there really no viable way to combine some other skills?
Seems kind of like a dead end, you're entire build is about critting and essence and having a fine balance between other things that ramps up damage...
Why do we need to make lots of corpses for this build? We dont have corpse explosion

I see these bone builds all over the look really cool but don't forget if you build a minion build you can increase there numbers also pump them full of resistance so on... i walk around having a screen full of my minions destroying evrything in my path shredding evry boss have hardly died trueout leveling because my minions especially gollum take all the hits for me.
I hope they buff necromancer in the near future, i see basically nobody playing it, all the streamers are playing the 3 other classes
