You have loadout saves in your wardrobe- 5 load out saves- u have to purchase them with gold

They have to do it like clash Royale so you can switch deck to deck anytime you will

This is literally the build I’ve been using for tier 4 and I’m soloing nightmare dungeons 15-20 levels above me. I’m so glad to see it working on such a level
If you're trying to level fast, don't do anything more than 5 levels above

Same. I’m a very casual gamer and new to the franchise and I used summons build early game not really following something. Than I followed an exact shadow/sever build and I’m pretty untouchable in tier 3. I was holding my own in tier 4 25-30 NM dungeons in a party as well but was dying often so went back to tier 3 and will continue to level. Slowly lol

I'm using a form of this build with minions, and I can run tier 15 dungeons at level 57. Maybe I won't be able to later on, but I am having a blast right now

For me I went with necromancer for two build types.. minions builds and a vampire blood build. I’m happy to play the vampire builds until minions are fixed but I get you completely.

you need territorial to be level 15. look at 10:12. the glyph has a radius of 4. you need the increased radius to get the dex nodes
Love the build guide! I got lucky with those super unique gloves dropping right away for me, and it's nice to be able to use them even if I don't have Black River yet.
This spec has been game changing for me, this is so sick! I've found a couple good minion uniques with it at least if they do buff minions lol

@@Leonelfreak Even in WT3 a normal nightmare dungeon gives me around 300-600k when i sell my bag after 1-2 runs- Not a big deal to spent 1.5mil .

Gloves: Howl from below
- Instead of detonating immediately, CORPSE EXPLOSE summons a volatile Skeleton that charges at a random enemy and explodes
Helmet: Adventurer's Helm of Explosive Mist
- Imprint: BLOOD MIST trigger CORPSE EXPLOSION on surrounding Corpses
- Gem: Maximum life
Weapon: Black river
- Imprint: CORPSE EXPLOSION consumes up to 4 additional corpses around the initial corpse
- Gem: Damage over time
Focus/shield/2nd hand: Dream Cather of Decay
- Imprint: Each time SHADOWBLIGHT key passive deals damage to enemies, it increases the next SHADOWBLIGHT'S damage within 10 seconds by #%
- Gem: Damage over time
Chest: Sovereign Mail of Disobedience
- Imprint: You gain #x increased armor for 4 seconds when dealing any form of damage
- Gem: Maximum life
Pants: Warlord Leg Plates Of Shielding Storm
- Imprint: Each time that BONE STORM damages an enemy, gain a BARRIER etail to #% of your base life for 10 seconds
- Gem: Maximum life
Boots: Ghostwalker Doom Threads
- Imprint: While UNSTOBBALE and for a # seconds after, you gain #% increased momvement speed
Ring #1: Ring of Ultimate Shadow
- Imprint: BONE STORM and BLOOD WAVE are also DARKNESS skills, deal shadow damage, and gain additional effects: .....
- Gem: Armor
Ring #2: Blood-soaked Ring
- Imprint: BLOOD MIST leaves a trail that lasts 4 seconds and deal # Shadow Damage per second to enemies who stand in it
- Gem: Armor
Amulet: Blighted Amulet
- Imprint: You deal #% increased damage for # seconds after the SHADOWBLIGHT key passive enemies # times
- Gem: Armor
Irc he took the reap for the toughness with the 20% damage reduction aspect. which is needed in higher levels of nightmare dungeons. As he mentioned, Damage is easy to get but toughness is not.
You use acolytes reap for dmg reduction on engagement + corpse and with might aspect i believe for more reduction
this build isn't doing damage reduction, it's doing damage negation.
If you have Bloodless Scream and Penitent Greaves (I just got the Greaves yesterday), I think you could slot those two Uniques into this Build. The Bloodless Scream should provide any Essense Generation that you might need, and works well with the Lucky Hit provided by the Howl from Below (sad I only have a Sacred version of thesr Gloves)...

You need the unique corpse explosion weapon, or your blood mist will just pop only 4 ticks per cast.
This build works in the beta cuz it used to pop every corpse u float on it.

Black River is what is used in this build, along with Howl from Below. It does SIGNIFICANTLY more damage than Bloodless Scream. Attack speed due to the 1h'er is way too beneficial, plus it's unique effect.

Control glyph 7:35 - You don’t need to have this at lvl 15 for the radius increase to get 40 points of intelligence. The rare node to the left gives 10 points and pushes you to 40 with the other ones in the radius.
I’m currently running this at like lvl 2 so it works 😊
yes, but the bonus you gain with each from the radius is staggering.
It gives almost +140% damage to crowd controlled targets when maxed out.
But you are sacrificing a ton of extra damage js

Theres a mistakes , crit doesnt work with dots , it says so when you look at crit , it will work with blight initial hit but not the miasma from blight CE or shadowblight effect

Just tried out this build, it's pretty good but heavily plays around the cooldown time of blood mist and bone storm (especially blood mist). I don't have any ancestral gear, so maybe that's why, but I seem to be doing a lot of waiting in between fighting mobs.
Make sure you hit everything with decrepify before turning on bone storm and/or blood mist to reduce the cooldowns of them, I guess it works that way? 😮
Not enough decrepify, spam that shit everywhere all the time everytime and you’ll have no cooldowns
So question…can you pick up blood orbs while you’re blood misted? Reason I ask is because, if you could guarantee 80-90% uptime for blood mist via the cooldown reduction from blood orbs and the aspect that spawns a blood orb when a corpse is consumed you could combine this with the armor that spawns a bone spirit when you pick up a certain number of orbs. This would effectively make you invincible while corpse explosion, the shadow damage, and bone spirit kill whatever you’re facing. But it’s dependent on being able to pick up orbs while misted.
Ive been using reap, bone spear, minions raising, decrepify, and bone storm (turned to shadow damage through legendary aspect). If i need to be tankier or higher difficult solo, ill probably replace summining minions with with the basic skill of blood or blood mist

If you're using minions, you're going to hit a wall in tier 4. They get shredded way too easily and the healing ability necromancers are given is absolute trash. We should just be able to resummon. I gave in a couple of weeks ago and just sacrificed all my minions and it is a world of a difference. Plus, if you use Howl from Below, the minions that sprint from the corpses make it feel like you're still a necromancer lol

@@HDDVD-ROM yea, I can still use them in wt4, but just in the free roam, where enemies are only like 2 levels higher than me. Even then, as you say, the summoning feels wasted as they die so quick. Also needed to run some higher nightmare dungeons, so I just switched my summoning ability with blood mist for survivability, since minions were just taking up a slot and some aspects anyways at that point. I can just make up for the damage and also don't need mages to chill, since I'm using the Iceman pants, Penitent Greaves, and the two handed scythe, Bloodless Scream

I used this build and it is over 5x more dps than my minion build! I love it! I got black river and howl from below as well as the unique boots and legs. I use slightly different aspects that work better with my play. But this is soooo sick! The icing on the cake would be Harleyquin helm haha. Thanks for the share man! Allowed me to go from barely surviving T35 at 80 to slaying T50 like it’s T1 lol…. Luckily I had fists of fate and bloodless scream until I had proper uniques. Also the armor aspect is a must. The other that I feel goes perfect with howl from below and black river aspect, the blood mist shadow mist is the one that makes blood mist auto-explode corpses. I also like the blight one that groups enemies… unfortunately there are tons of awesome aspects and with my many uniques I have to be careful.
I started using the build without any of the uniques as soon as I leveled to 50. And I have to say, it's been working. I can't see sh*t on my screen because of how dark the darkness brights are but everything is dying while I'm 5 levels under everything. So I can't wait to get the uniques and proper aspects 💪

Vindication! I have a nigh identical build except I can't seem to get Black River to drop and I use minions. I know necros as is are more often better without them buuuut I chose necromancer to be a corpse summoner baddie. Another great vid
Wondering if this can be adapted into a shadow-minion build, since there's already much overlap with existing minion builds (e.g. the wither -> flesh-eater board) 🤔

I tried exactly this, and after dragging it to level 80, I'm pretty convinced it's just inferior. It's viable, but not as good. Minions just take too much investment to keep alive, and that could just be invested into more damage. Every skill point/paragon point you're putting into you minion survivability is one less that's going into some form of damage/survivability for you. The problem with cold mage vulnerability is that it takes a few seconds to come online, and by then you would have just killed the pack using tendrils. It IS better for bossing, in my opinion, since you can put out peak damage for longer, and the skeleton mages with blizzard knock bosses down repeatedly, very quickly. However, as bossing is currently a joke (it's often the easiest part of the dungeon), it's just not worth it. If they ever buff bosses up so that they're actually a threat, I could see this build becoming a major contender for that, but there's no point atm - it just does everything either a little worse, or with significantly less QOL (trying to keep minions up).
@jeremy1244 is totally right. I am also running this build and minions just suck balls. You have to invest so much just to make them mediocre at best. While it is really fun spamming golem stomp for vuln and running large pack of minions there are major downsides:
- You waste at least 2+ aspects to buff minions
- You need to invest heavily in deadraiser paragon board early on
- Minions still get clapped by elites that do fire damage etc
- Once your minions start dying you are fucked. You need to take a step back and resurrect them so you can priest to keep your existing minions alive
- Slow AF you need to set up every mob with golem stomp and sometimes your minions aren't close to you so you have to wait for them to get your first corpses
While the build is viable and fun to play the DPS from your shadow skills leaves a lot to be desired and you simply can't run higher tier content. T4 content normally is fine but pushing higher lvl nightmare dungeons for ancestral gear etc just isn't there IMO
I am about to spec out of minions at lvl 72 into a full shadow DPS build like this one since I already have everything required. If that sucks then bone spear is next
Frozen Darkness build with unique Bloodless Scream Scythe and the unique boots that leave a chilled trail. CE miasma, bone prison blight, Corpse tend vulnerability, Bone Storm with Darkness aspect, shadowblight passive. You freeze and melt EVERYTHING and take less damage from anything chilled
Thanks for putting out such great content Hallow and guiding the way to feasible builds. I was wondering if you/anyone could suggest any tweaks for this build to gear it for mid game? I just reached level 50 on my main and after updating my skill tree at per this guide (no real meaningful paragon board yet) I can't see to make this setup work due to lack of damage (from running out of essence) which then means I burn through potions trying to stay alive. I know part of my problem is mediocre gear (both damage and armour) due to my level, but still trying to workout key tweaks to the skill tree or aspect that would compensate and make this more viable mid game. I noticed @frontlinestraw is level 58 and making it work - care to shed any light?

Black river doesnt work with blighted corpse explosion properly, if at all. It needs fixing, but its going to be the best weapon option when it does work properly.
The Blighted Corpse Explosions do not get increased size from Black River. Only normal corpse explosions have the AoE sadly. The blighted does benefit from the increased damage though so it's still worth running.

i was wondering, the corpse explosion dammage is ancestral only ? Can i use the aspect that augment my shadown dammage by 204%[x] on my two hand meanwhile ? Also, i use both the aspect that make drop blood orb and reduce cooldown with them, is it better to remove them or not ?
Where do you get howl from below and black river? Still playing through the main campaign for the first time
this build is perfect but one point into fortify is useless since you don’t get the bonus until you’re fully fortified so it’s better to pick the generate corpse on the first skill instead as a guaranteed corpse and a combat initiator
What are your thoughts for using the unique pants for a barrier instead. It makes it so when you heal over 100% health you get a barrier equal to 40-80% of your max life. I got it at 80% and am using that instead

Thanks, that's great. When first time i see a man using that i realized how amazing it is and I changed my summon necro to embrace the shadow. Right now instead of tendrils I'm using the aspect that pull together enemies with blight and also the aspect that adds blight to the bone prison, so I can use a bone prison that pulls enemies inside and keep them trapped while applying vulnerability and restores "mana". But probably it is better the classical way with tendrils and the aspect that improves crit.
Since my necro just died, i was looking for a new build to start up again, and this looks like a fun one and i have most of the aspect in bank already, i would just run with a shield since its hc.

Love the blood build you posted awhile back and i have a question; is this buuld better than that one? I get some poayer solo'd soem very hard content but is it possible with blood or is it just not strong enough atm?
Switched my leveling build to a hybrid of this, I have two gear pieces that boost blood mist, by making me move at normal speed and exploding corpses that I walk over, way more fun then bone spear
Just saw this video today and tried out the build. I'm only level 61 and dont have the unique weapon. I was finally able to reach Elias in the capstone dungeon and was just begging to form a strategy to not die, got him below half health, and got a server disconnect :-|
The ease of clearing mobs and tanky animus carriers was night and day compared to other builds I tried out.

Reallly hoping they don’t nerf this. I’m 65 I’ve been using the bloody golem build the entire time. First time trying something else. This build is insane. I don’t even have all of the aspects. And I don’t have either of the unique items yet I’m still cleaning up pretty hard compared to before. It’s so nice to not have to worry about essence or 5 stack procs for rathma. Just so smooth and satisfying. Thanks for the vid!
The only thing blizzard needs to change about this build is the animation effect of the shadow blight. I can’t see shit. Other than that leave the build alone blizzard lol.
The boots do stack with the aspect. I'm running them both, and the unique 2 hand scythe that makes all darkness skills chill.
I have 3 uniques on my necro. The exploding ring, freeze scythe, and homing CE gloves. Blizzard boots and any armor that boosts your HP/armor/resistance
So basicallly Your corpse explosion deals freeze dmge plus 6 mage dropping blizzard. Skel warriors can crit for 12k dmg. So its a decent build

What’s the best way to get those items like black river, ring of mendelen, and howl from below? I have been trying three of whispers and nightmare dungeons and haven’t gotten them.

Yes, but the Shadowblight passive damage can crit. Given that it's low compared to bone spear/spirit damage. Every damage is welcome, right.

im a necro rn at at 76 have been playing a variation of this build since release and its treated me well im able to clear a 48 nm with ease the only problem is im kinda squishy. but when i get more paragon and get more survivability i can def see this build clearing end game nm dungeons

How do you deal with things that run from you and range you with this, its hard to make corpse appear under them to explode and blood mist damge and bone prison damage arent enough?
I didn't even have my gear setup right and this was working at level 68. changing my gear around today to see how much better it is even in the 60s levels.
I decided to change from my minion build that wasn't going to cut it in World Tier IV.

I just found the unique 2h scythe “Bloodless Scream” has crazy shadow/ chilled conversion bonus. I’m going to try and see if I can use this build with it while grinding. Awesome video!

How does it compare to Bone Spirit (Endgame version) available on MaxRoll ? I just did a NM 38 (+16 above me) and I don't even have the unique helmet yet
Since you're using blight, if you can work in the utility aspect for blight pulls in enemies, it messes with the AI and pulled in enemies tend to just stand still for 2~3 seconds. It's fast CC that can help with the delay on corpse tendrils to prevent dmg/CC before comes out.

I'm at lvl 48 working toward something like this, but is it viable at where I am or should i go for something else first?

I'm lvl 66 in wt4. Still using the bonespear build. Would you recommend changing to the New one immediately?

On the 3rd Paragon board for territorial, it doesn't seem that you can get 25 dex anymore, they removed the +7 from area of the glyph so it doesn't seem to be possible to get 25, I can get only 22.

Damn! How did you manage to kill Elias. I'm literally at 62 with this build and I can clear the dungeon in minutes but Elias one-shots me midfight every time. I can't seem to dodge his fireballs and they literally kill me with full health + fortified + barrier hahahaha,
Does anyone else think they need to adjust the shadow blight on the ground. It completely blocks out anything in it if there's more then one. My buddy couldn't even see where he was aiming. I get its shadow almost like a death fog, but if it could be more translucent I'd be ok with that
Was using this but ended up switching to a Nova minion build and been having a good bit of fun with it

Great build! Question though. Why do you take crit passives for fx bonestorm, when dot damage doesn't crit?

I’ve made two sets of armour one for minions and one for bone spear and I think I’ll make my third for this but the 200k reset on ability’s and idk how much it is two reset the paragon board but it’s so expensive 😂
I don't get how you don't run out of essence. Also, how are you handling bosses with tendrils since bosses don't get pulled or stunned by it? Also, what causes vulnerable in your build? The only reliable thing I've used for that is sever.
Is there any difference i. The boards if u go keft and right cuz on my bonespear most glyphs so useless cuz they either dont boost nodes or doesnt have enough stuff close even maxed out it feels like voard 3 is enough rest foes int or whatever
I been had this build except I have specifically all the key aspects, celestial armor etc. that deal more damage and are suited for each skill. Been running since 1st wk release. It's unstoppable and obliterates everything instantly. Run blood wave for ultimate bc I get 3 waves (massive damage). Every skill I have consumes a corpse and when it explodes it does shadow damage (blight effect) but with a multiplier basically. I regenerate full health as long as I stand in the gas and when I go blood mist I consume 6 corpses automatically which each exploded with blight effect.
Dude running the aspects that makes bloodmist deal shadow damage, makes bloodmist detonate corpses, and turns blood wave and bone storm into shadow moves, as well as getting rolls on your gear that increases shadow Dmg and overall dmg when enemies are cced must be nutty.
looks fun gonna try leveling with it. 21 atm. but .. how am i raising skeletons if i dont have that skill on my bar? i have too many skills and too little brain to figure this out xD
