I've been looking for a product like this for a very long time to raise my fish finder up more to eye level on my pelican bass raider. I've been running this boat for 5 years and always had the finder located on the floor of my boat. This makes it a little hard to see at times and sometimes causes neck strain. Happy to feature and share this with you. The Troll and Find conversion kits work for Garmin, Humminbird and Lowrance fish finders and is the perfect mounting solution for Pelican Bass Raiders, Jon Boats, Pond Prowlers, Canoes, Kayaks and Inflatable Boats. This is a great idea I'm going to buy one ASAP but if you are on the front of your boat your batteries should be on the back to balance out the weight
Yupp. I've changed up my whole setup since then. Got an outboard motor at the back with trolling motor up front with lithium battery.

Question where is you fish finder wire to? Are both the trolling motor and the fish finder wired to the the front of your battery box?
I still have a separate small battery for my fish finder. I'm considering getting rid of that and connecting it to the cigarette lighter style plug on the battery box. This will remove one extra thing when setting up the boat. Just haven't tried it yet.

Does mounting the transducer on the motor make the finder any less accurate or make the picture fuzzy or anything?
No it doesn't. No electronic interference and speed is low enough to keep water turbulence/interference down.
i just drilled mine on top of my trolling motor
That's an option but doesn't help with the resale if you want to sell the motor later. You know how we are always upgrading our toys :)

It's mounted to the bottom of the trolling motor.

Yes I did. It was around $550 to $650 back then.
