The joy, happiness, freedom you get and feel when you are in Nigeria is incomparable. Go to airports in diaspora and you will see how Nigerians are going home everyday. Paying tax, insurance, miscellaneous bills here in diaspora is enough to cause depression. I'm not saying paying your bills is a bad thing but abroad own too much. Has anybody ever wondered why most people, even though healthy, just suddenly collapse in abroad? My dear sister, even though I haven't met or seen you before, the tell-tale signs of happiness, glowing skin, looking good is visible on you. Look at your children too, they are even happier being in Nigeria. Just imagine children that were born in abroad choosing Nigeria over UK.
You have said it all, although abroad has got it own advantages too, but things have changed dramatically in recent years. I am not surprised that most people are moving back and more people are thinking about coming back too. I always will say, make the most of wherever you are, especially for those of us in the diaspora and if you know you will retiring in Nigeria, I think it is better to start planning....and that time should be now.
Thank you so much for you insight as always.
Happy Sunday🙂
I’m packing up very soon. Enough of yankee monthly headache.
@@DoubleFeat my brother, the headache abroad is too much. In Europe, where I live, they don't give black people accommodation anymore. Since both western and eastern Europe joined together things have been so difficult for blacks. Jobs are going to people of same colour as them, accommodations are going to people of same colour as them. You just feel provoked living in such society. I'm a citizen here but they don't treat me as one. Time we have to think of relocating because we are no longer wanted here. We are just like cockroaches in the gathering of fowls here. If it is only cassava we are eating in Nigeria, let us eat it with pride and rest of mind.
For me, coming to Nigeria always is like therapy for me. The stress and depression in abroad is 3 much
Exactly ooooo
No place likehome....thanks for watching
Sis Ada, you've got a gorgeous, smart, and resourceful daughter. I am so happy that you and your family escaped from the BABYLONIAN WEST trying to send us to the psychiatric unit. I can't wait to escape the HELLISH America. I got my plans and putting things in place in Nigeria. However, one more year in this country would be like 10 years. That's how tired and stressed i am.
I won't visit the US three years after i move back to Nigeria. I will need all those years to heal physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
26 years in America and very tired 😫 Well done, my sister, hug Edel and your entire family 😊
#Subscribed.
I know the feeling... The stress at some point was unbearable for me, and I was just looking for a way out. I understand how chaotic and challenging Nigeria can be, however since coming back, I and my family are thriving in ways we never knew we would. I hope everything goes well for you. I will show Edel your comment and thank you so much for watching. It is much appreciated.
Auntie, please take a trip to Abuja also if you haven't already. I think you'll like it. I loooooove Abuja and felt the place was good for me also. The funny thing is, because it's trendy to dislike Nigeria, I felt I could not really fully share with others there that I actually prefer ABJ to London (except when it's summer in London). I feel expressing it actually made some people annoyed.
Definitely on my list of places to visit in Nigeria. Thank you for watching
I dont think anyone with african teenagers should live in the UK. Africa is great for teenagers. It will build her confidence and identity. UK will never do that. She is blessed to have you as her mother.
I am so glad we were able to do this as parents. My daughter and her siblings are thriving and happy. It is important that we expose her Nigerian heritage, she appreciates things more and she can see the challenges we face in Nigeria. It makes me so happy to hear her talk about things she would like to do to improve the situation here. Thank you so much for watching.
@@AdaLivingInspirations you are blessed aunty Ada. I wish my parents had done the same thing. I don't think people understand that children are simple. They need love and consistency. They don't need much. Western society promotes unnecessary things. All this big flashy things always, capitalism but no love. Teens don't need the West and all its noise. Enjoy this season Aunty Ada. Enjoy the simplicity. So happy to here she is homeschooling as well. A lot of unnecessary school fees in Nigerian schools. Blessings to Uncle as well.
great information
Glad it was helpful!
