"Maybe a synth..." Hell yeah, SERUM!
Best synth ever
'Happy accident machine'. Love it. Will be grabbing a copy asap
brilliant I have been having this idea in my head for the longest times.... I just want something that will let me whack out the chords with 1 key just to hear what I like.
OH MY GOD THANK YOU SO MUCH. I'm so getting this. I have that problem to much. It actually keeps me from making music. Thank you Icon. I owe you one. ! :D
Will be getting this.
Way cool! How much inspiration can you get from that? Classical Voicings on Modern synths. Nice! Love this!
how awesome this is! i do love j.s. bach very much too. thank you steve
Great video! Is it possible to create your own chord packs? How do these guys do it?
I love Steve ❤️
I really want to use this plug-in and I haven't given up yet.
how do i get it set up in logic so i can play my synths and use the chords at the same time>??
Just a wonderful piece of software. It makes the creative process much more fluid, and gives you a jumping off point before you dive into music theory on a production.
Any idea what synth they are using here?
Sylenth
Do you have instructions on how to set it up with Cubase 6?
Wow 💫🔊🔊🔊...what a great App? VST... so different to any generative/theory ,interactive composition apps /VSTs in 2020!!!!. .. a unique angle. I’m going to buy this from Plug-in Boutique tonight. If I had a thought for a possible update ...it would be to provide a visual indicator to suggest an array of harmonic modulations from the current key ... that also would be unique 🧩👍................👏👏👏🎶🔊🙏🎩🦄...you blade runner 🙏
Bad ass! Cheers to Steve for this baby and for Deadmau5's input on! Thank fuck two smart innovative producers created this!
thank you
what instrument are they using in ableton
Is there a way to change the default size of this plugin from 100%to 200%?
can someone tell me how i can get those chords?
this is sick
haha, i like that the audio has reverb on it :) like on the video
Steve is the best
Cthulhu has awoken
No problem with Live 9 for me. Don't use pirated software and it won't crash much
What about dynamics? Hitting several keys on just one touch losses volume change of each individual key, no? Less dynamic/swing?
+theforsbergshow Agreed. The dude playing the keyboard was giving it some hammer!
Yes, but that is why you use it for writing a song. After you know what sounds good to you then you can learn your song and record a performance. It's kind of sad that most producers don't 'learn' their songs to be able to play. I guess that is the difference between producers and artists. Anyways... Happy Tubing!
Crashes _every_ time on Ableton Live 9. Finally I made a very simple melody with Operator, added Cthulhu and within a couple of minutes it crashes Live. First I thought it might be because I was using it with Razor through Reaktor player, but no. Doesn't matter what it's addressing. I'm on Win7 64 bits.
Does anybody know how i would route my Cthulhu to a third party VST in Fl Studio 11?
+Moses
In wrapper settings :
Set Cthulhu OUT to (1)
Set FL VST IN to (1)
or any other number
Sounds like Cygnus X Orange theme @4:05 :)
chtulu is awesome
Mr Duda yOur a Programing Genius {{d~*~b}}
It looks cool, but I would prefer it to put out the actual chord data, not just the single note you play. Is that possible?
Issue resolved @ 07:30.
LOL
What is that intro track?
Cell By Cell - Steve Duda
Thanks! Brilliant track.
I hope one day Steve writes a program by which a musician just press a button on the plugin, and the the programme would compose, mix, master and possibly sell the newly generated tracks, and collect the royalties on behalf of the composer!
what the hell. Live 9 requires vst Plugins to be 64bit, now the 64bit version of cthulhu works perfectly fine but just refuses to find the stupid Presets folder, and yes it IS adjacent to the cthulhu.dll.
you need to use the 32 bit version of live 9 64 bit is very buggy
switch to FL Studio... it can works with 64x and 32x VSTs
riskybiscutz imac doesnt have a problem with 64 bit vsts
it isnt the computers problem its the softwares problem
*****
One does not simply
switch DAW's
it really sounds like kirnu cream
Steve is Brit Marling's twin brother from another mother
All i hear is Deadmau5.
i had ableton 9 lol horrible unstable software lol, the cpu usage is insane, had to go back to 8.2.2 i think it had the best cpu usage, its much more stable, im waiting for the the update to 9 aswell
It's only $40. Filthy.
