I was watching UFC 299 over the weekend and came to this realization. The took all of the sponsors off of the fighters shorts and put them all over the ring instead. So now the fighters make less but the UFC makes more.

Sean's right but the UFC isn't a charity and for most MMA fighters and boxers they will barely make a living from the sport. it's only the tiny elite who will make the big bucks. The UFC provides the platform for stars to emerge. It's up to the fighters really. Self promotion will help, just like he's doing lately.
