Amazing demo again Jack you legend. So would you put this as your preferred J45 out of all your stock, especially in comparison with the 125th Anniversary job?

@peachguitars Is that beginning part like a blues standard or something i can learn or do you just have to figure it out for yourself ?

I've always wanted a J-45, but it does concern me that Jack keeps saying "when you find a GOOD J-45...", although I'm sure he didn't mean it quite how I'm interpreting, lol. I quite fancy the J-185 and Taylor 818e too, actually. Decisions, decisions.

Is he famous for using a J45? Where does he use one?

Patience and I think most of the Gnr Lies Album

He plays some acoustic on all the Gnr albums but yea, the obvious one would be patience.

3:55 that's exactly why I just bought my first Martin.. about a week ago now I bought a Martin D-35.. I've ALWAYS played Gibson acoustics and own several top of the line Gibson acoustics. I have 3 J45's.. but it just seems like Gibson isn't what they use to be and they've really become "hit or miss".. someone who is going to pay 2 grand or more for a guitar shouldn't have to worry if they're getting a mediocre, dull, lifeless guitar.. And it honestly pains me to say that. I love Gibson guitars and the Gibson company and Brand.. I own 9 Gibsons (all acoustic) I never thought I'd ever play anything other than a Gibson. I don't know it just seems like it's not the same anymore.

@jasonlinton9902 Hey, man.. even though you wrote your response 3yrs ago, I'm just seeing it. Lol!!
The past 3yrs I think Gibson has really really turned it around!! I mean as far as Acoustics.. It seems like they were really listening to what their reputation had become and how it got that way and they're working to make the necessary changes.. There's always gonna be those who dislike and complain on Gibson but for the most part It seems like I mostly hear positive feedback now.. Gotta be honest I'm really happy for them!! I'm back to playing Gibson only again lol..
Sorry for the super long comment haha, That's really awesome about your Les Paul!! I don't ever play Electric and don't even own one. Lol.. I've always wanted a Les Paul and I've almost bought one many times, but always passed since I don't play Electric. Lol. But I'm a Punk Rock Bass Player first, Acoustic guitar player second lol.. Now that I'm no longer playing in a Band, I don't play Bass much and mostly play my acoustic daily and I still try to write often as possible. Man, anyway I apologize for rambling!! Hope you still have and enjoying your LP!! Thanks for sharing with me as well! 🤘
