      @@Mr_Bones. Look up the definitions of cultural racism or neo-racism. Notice how the word racism is still a part of the phrase? Now if you'd like to skip the semantics, the real question becomes "Is such prejudice against a particular ethnicity or culture acceptable?" If that's what you are trying to defend, don't waste your time.

    OK, I’m not sure if the news have not gotten to Germany yet, but care in the US, everybody knows that you do not buy a 2011 model year SLS. Ever! In fact, to be totally honest, MERCEDES did not but right until, the 2013 SLSGT came out. Also, what kind of a German buys a used SLS without a maintenance history and takes it to the Ring At least changing out all of the fluids and checking the tires and the brakes? I have never met that kind of a before lol

    Shouldn't be too hard to figure out the day a car was made. I read somewhere, years and years ago. Never buy a car that was assembled on a Monday or a Friday. Mondays a lot of the workers are hung over and don't pay too much attention to what they are doing. Friday they are too eager to get the work day over, don't give their full attention to the job so they can get to the weekend so they can start drinking again. 😁 It's a vicious cycle EDIT: "From either some Italian, or Arabian guys" Yup, he's German 🤣🤣

    Just because the car is beautiful doesn't mean it's good. As far as having to repair lots of things: that is not a Monday car but a German car. Because he is a German guy, I suppose no one has ever told him don't buy a German car. They are the only Engineers that put hard brittle plastic in the hottest places of an engine. And BMWs have more leaking gaskets than anyone else (excluding exotics).

    • @user-wm3fc1sk1p
      @user-wm3fc1sk1p Před 3 měsíci

      You don't know what you're talking about.
      BMW uses the same kind of gaskets as any other vehicle manufacturer does. On the other hand, BMW drivers tend to be a bit on the "sporty" side, which means they like to shift at redline a couple times a day. Now what this does, is cause all the oil leaks you see people get. High RPMS= increased crankcase pressure. Increased crankcase pressure leads to leaky gaskets/ or increases the rate of leakage of a currently leaking gasket. Sporty drivers typically don't end up in basic commuter 4 cylinder Toyotas, instead those are mostly reserved for traffic-law abiding citizens who barely go over 3k rpms and stay 30 miles below the speed limits all the time. And that is why their gaskets are lasting a little longer. Another case one can make is that this "sporty" driving in cars such as BMW degrades the oil which may have a negative impact on oil seals but don't quote me on that. All I know is that higher oil temperatures degrades the quality of the oil, and not all BMW models come with an oil cooler, that's usually reserved for the top of the line performance cars in their lineup...
      Every single manufacturer has been using as many plastic parts as they can since around the early 2000s. Go under the hood of your Toyota corolla and check it out. If they could make the entire engine/ drivetrain out of plastic, they would. The entire cooling system for any automobile manufacturer from the last 2 decades is made of of mostly plastic pieces, doesn't matter if its a toyota or a bmw, keep in mind coolant temperatures usually settle down around 210F which is pretty hot, in the end all those parts have to be replaced, its just a matter of when and the cost of owning a car I would say. Long are the days of entirely metal radiators....

      @@lukeyarasheski5510 I'm not cranky at all. He's talking about a lack of service records and literally says "It didn't get any service. Or maybe some service by some Italians, or Arabian guys." He sure seems to be implying that Italians and Arabians are shady mechanics since he's making a point of how poorly serviced the car was when he took delivery. Since the only defining characteristic he gives the people responsible for what he's describing as poor maintenance is their presence in a specific ethnic group, it appears to me to tick the boxes of casual racism. It could have just as easily been German mechanics that did the work, but he makes a point of saying "Italians, or Arabians" were responsible. He may not realize he's doing it, but that's also not really an excuse for it.
