That lilac shade is beautiful.
You should try knitting. You can make a top down lace shirt and try it on as you go. Start with the neck and just go! Knit stitches in the round

if embroidery is done on regular sewing machine and pre-programmed already, do you always need a backing paper? or you can just embroider it directly on the fabric?
