Fantastic tribute all great guys, it was great to see Freddie Star as the last act ❤🇬🇧but no one will ever replace Elvis he's a legend that will never be forgotten 🕺🕺🎶😢✝️
I give them props for daring to impersonate Elvis. Let's face it, Elvis was not only handsome, but he was also beautiful (there's a video with Jerry Reed talking about him as the most handsome man he'd ever seen and joked that he wished he was a girl LOL) and on top of that, he had a very eccentric sense of fashion. It's difficult to not look like a caricature or sound empty like Johnny Bravo.
Too bad he was gay/ bi with make up, mascara, hair dye, face lift etc and with Nick Adams...... More like the Queen of Rock n Roll. 😆 If natural in real life, He actually doesn't look anything like how he portrayed himself to be on stage or in public. Took ALOT of Work! 😆 Cybil Shepherd, lady who played elvira, Natalie Wood and others thought he was gay when they were with him in the 1950's because he could never get turned on to girls. The opposite illusion later created to hide himself from that. Hell, even Pricella Said he didn't touch her romantically or sexually for 6 years straight after being married. He definitely had some gay tendencies in the closet that they could hide back then from public or at least tried too better.
Ben Portsmouth is brilliant lve seen him a few times now live and he is amazing live 👏 voice so like Elvis as best you can to the King. It would be great to see Ben Portsmouth and Shawn Klush sing on stage as a sing off.
I'm a singer, that last high note was ELVIS, i miss him... I learned today that the Colonel was pissed that Streisand went to Elvis first about staring in a star is born. He would not let Elvis star unless he got top billing. Elvis was devastated, it was his last chance for anything during that time. Streisand could have whipped him into shape and saved his life. One thing Elvis respects it is real talent, Damn, we were cheated again.
I've just cone from listening to elvis himself singing suspicious minds . the first one blows my mind I don't need to rate the others. the first impersonator is spot on for me.
I am so proud of Cody I met him when he was like 14 or 15 and was amazed at his resemblance to Elvis if he had started performing it wasn't on this level he is awesome he's 2nd favorite lol only to Shawn well of course Elvis being all of our #1
I agree sounds really well and his movement are really close to what Elvis does. Can you imagine how hard it is to move around like that and sing like Elvis? That's a talent in itself.

I saw Ben Portsmouth live on the Gold Coast Queensland Australia, and after having seen many many tribute artists over the years, (and being one myself in the 1990's) He is without a doubt the Ultimate Elvis., voice, looks, presence, he has it all. His portrayal of the 1977 Rapid City concert, was beyond belief! Cody Ray Slaughter as the 1950's Elvis (when Cody was younger) and I like Bill Cherry, for stage presence and personality! My top 3.....
Cody was a good 50s act when he was considerably younger, but the only one I've heard who could capture Elvis' early voice (not exactly, of course) is Jake Rowley.
Being an Elvis tribute myself Ben has best voice of all hitting them high notes and tones [his English accent is only thing i hear once in a while that bugs me lol but 95% there]. Looks very close too except shows too much chest but great facial side profiles especially. Trent Carlini was top 3 for me personally as well
Absolutely! I’ve been an Elvis fan my whole life, and I’m 64 years old. I never had the privilege of seeing Elvis in person. But he is my all time artist. He’s just the king! I loved the guy in the black leather suit and the guy that followed him. They sounded and capture the very essence of Elvis. But there isn’t a sound on this earth that will ever be an exact replica of Elvis.
Who are these men? Each did a fine job and they are fine entertainers. They are not he, nor can they be, but his spirit of "all out" lives in each one.
Let me say : Elvis is Elvis ! And a lot of very good Impersonater exists, like them. But seems one of the best it was Jimmy Ellis. Thanks for this video !
Impersonating Elvis is a strange sub-art form -- not to be disparaged because its no easy feat to master -- not only the look, the moves, but in a few rare cases even the voice. I give these performers a lot of credit for being the best they can be. And if you have to imitate someone it might as well be Elvis.
Too bad he was gay/ bi with make up, mascara, hair dye, face lift etc and with Nick Adams...... More like the Queen of Rock n Roll. 😆 If natural in real life, He actually doesn't look anything like how he portrayed himself to be on stage or in public. My publicist got me a weeks gig during Elvis week visiting a string of dry cleaners in Houston. Until you wear the cape you have no idea the influence he has had. And to that I add....everyone who has worn the cape knows how far inferior they are to the King in every single thing! lol. Replication is the greatest form of flattery as they say.
This was a great compilation of Elvis songs. They all did a great job, but there's always something missing though. The one and only Elvis could make songs sound amazing without even trying. It was truly a God given talent. Elvis would be proud. (At least I think)
I know the second one is Andy Kaufman, who does a surprisingly good Elvis impersonation , the third , doing bridge over trouble water sounds and looks just like Elvis, I think it's Sean Klush, he's one of the best , he's even gotten the approval of Graceland and actually toured with the sweet inspirations and some of Elvis's old band members
Shawn Klush, came close, but there was only one Elvis! Even Joe Esposito was brought to tears at Shawn’s impression of Elvis said he felt like it was Elvis himself. Interestingly, even Elvis said he liked Andy Kaufman’s impersonation of him!
Ben Portsmouth and Shawn Klush are two of the best in the world, it will be hard to beat either of those. But is anyone familiar with Dean Zeligman? That guy has it all -- you just cant get much better than that. He is definitely in my top 3!
For me Cody Slaughter beats them all. Ben is good. Dean Z is alright but looks more like John stamos than he does Elvis and Shawn Kluth is way too old.
Shawn has a good voice and puts on a good show. Out of these, Ben has my vote for looks and whole package. Cody Slaughter looked more like Elvis when Cody was younger. So far Donny Edwards is best over all. Bill Cherry is right up there on top.
For those who don't know who the last Elvis Impersonator is, it's Freddie Starr a UK Comedian who sadly passed away in 2019. Here is a link to a short concert he did in tribute to Elvis which I honestly think is worth a look czcams.com/video/kUSuaXzEfzg/video.html For me Freddie was one of the best impersonators only to be outdone by the wonderful Shawn Klush. Both singing voices are so natural, but Shawn Klush has Elvis' talking voice as well so easily incorporates that into his singing voice, which makes it sound so natural and so very much Elvis.
I watched Cody perform in the UK in 2019 pre Covid - if you closed your eyes you would have thought Elvis was in the building! I couldn’t help but cry - it was absolutely wonderful and surreal! He’s the best!
A good roundup for sure. Crazy that one of your top was Andy Kaufman, but you can't deny his brilliance when doing Elvis. The last one had the look that is for sure. Well done.
I have seen Ben Portsmouth but Ben Thompson who won ultimate in 2019 is amazing so is Emilio santoro and Louis Brown up and coming young lads who are incredible

I like the first one he sounds like Elvis and has great moves 😊
They will never be able to replace Elvis.
However talented..they just broke the mould when Elvis was born....you cannot replicate perfection.....well done those impersonators though.
I saw Ben Portsmouth after a 2 year wait due to covid and was not let down.......absolutely amazing
First one was brilliant looks like Elvis too👍👍👍👍

Ben Portsmouth is brilliant lve seen him a few times now live and he is amazing live 👏 voice so like Elvis as best you can to the King. It would be great to see Ben Portsmouth and Shawn Klush sing on stage as a sing off.
Ben is very good ..he captures the essence
of Elvis( my humble
opinion)🌻
I wish I could find an impersonator that can move his left shoulder like Elvis did...Elvis didn't try..it just came natural..and sexy it was!
It is pretty difficult to copy what comes naturally though (that's not a criticism of your post)!.
The beautiful impersonator in the leather suit was out of this world. I litterly got chills...
