Despite our differences regarding Linda but I actually agree with you on this one. For decades we've been watching homophobes throwing sickening insults at the LGBTQ community, beating them up on the streets and murdering them mercilessly while getting off scot free to continue abusing other gays and this horrifying cycle keeps going on and on and on without any serious ramifications for those monsters. What goes around comes around and I was cheering Ben when he gave that pig what he deserved, we've had it enough with having to stay silent and accept homophobic insults and attacks.

Paul was Ben's first real love and his first ever relationship. He was only just coming out as gay when he started dating Paul. Paul helped Ben to come out and embraced him and encouraged him to be out and proud. It was the first time he felt truly happy and free. Not weighed down by the responsibly or the reputation of being a "Mitchell". He could just be the person he always wanted to be. He could just be with Paul and be happy. Paul loved him and Pam loved him and embraced him like a second son and he felt like he had a new loving and caring family who truly embraced him for who he is and the person he wanted to be but never felt able to be because of his mitchell family. Then in an instant...it was taken away from him. :( Paul's death had a huge impact on Ben and would have a significant effect on the rest of his life. This was someone he let in, trusted and allowed himself for the first time ever to be vulnerable with. Ben never dated anyone after Paul. He had endless meaningless flings and one night stands but never anything serious. Until Callum came along.
Despite my issues with Ben's characterisation particularly since he returned 3 years ago, I can't say I'm against him on this one, because as a gay man myself I totally understand where he's coming from. The homophobes most often than not get off scot free when they hurl homophobic insults at the LGBTQ community without facing any consequences for their actions which encourages them to commit murders against gay people. Go on Ben, make them pay.
Lmao, no it doesn't! Murder (of any kind) is extremely rare in the UK. No one is "being encouraged to kill g@y people", most of these guys Ben is going after are just mouthy chavs, also why should you receive consequences for voicing your opinion anyway?
Glad this clips are back working. Not to be rude but a full episode of Callum, Ben, Jean and Vi would be a chore to sit through, this I can keep up to date with things and maybe tune in if things get better
In my personal opinion I think that ben has to talk to Callum about what he has been doing and what he has been going through ,then maybe ben's character may have to leave for a while while he does some counselling for his PTSD and then come back and maybe be a little bit better with his mental health ,but he still has some problems with the aftermath and then ben and Callum can be there for each other whilst they are going through this.

There should be more LBGT Vigilantism in my opinion , too many homophobes being unpunished in society , same goes if a black man attacked a white guy for being racist . Any forms of discrimination should be eliminated in society and I totally approve of what Bens doing .
